Jaime’s Restaurant & Taqueria is an absolutely fantastic spot for anyone who loves authentic, flavorful Mexican food. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and a cozy, inviting atmosphere that instantly feels like home. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with recommendations or special requests. Their service truly adds to the whole experience.

The food at Jaime’s is outstanding. Every dish is prepared with fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and the kind of care that you can taste in every bite. The tacos are a definite highlight—packed with perfectly seasoned meat, fresh toppings, and served on warm tortillas. Their burritos, enchiladas, and fajitas are also must-tries, each one bursting with flavor and made just right. The salsas are fresh and delicious, and the portions are generous enough to leave you full and happy.

One thing that really stands out about Jaime’s Restaurant & Taqueria is the authenticity. You can tell the recipes come from tradition, and the quality is consistent every single time. Whether you dine in or take your order to go, the food always arrives hot, fresh, and beautifully prepared.

The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, making it perfect for a casual lunch, a family dinner, or a quick stop for something tasty on the go. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, making it a great value as well.

Overall, Jaime’s Restaurant & Taqueria is a true gem—delicious food, wonderful service, and a welcoming environment that keeps you coming back. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican cuisine that never disappoints, this place is highly recommended!

It’s been a year since I ate there, but I see from other reviews, they still don’t list their prices.. which I find horrifying.. They charge you however much they feel like charging you I guess… fun!!
You order from the counter, they bring out your food, and then you’re on your own.. even when they have hardly any customers. The food was good, presentation nice. The prices are high. The music was loud. And there is little service other than them delivering your food to your table.

We were charged $30 for one plate, camarones de la crema, and it was awful. The cheese tasted like imitation, and caused stomach issues. Also no sour cream, guacamole, salsa, anything. I had the same plate that was awesome at a place nearby for $13 less. I can’t believe good reviews. Also zero atmosphere

Food was delicious. I really like that the fresh tortillas are made right in front of you. Big menu with lots of options. The al pastor tacos were really good. My friend said the fish and shrimp was tasty as well. Counter serve with friendly service. Will go back for more.

Big portion sizes! Not pictured are the tacos. Personally the prices for the tacos were fairly high other than that, everything seemed great.

Yes, the music is loud. They updated their menu to include pricing, but you still have to go to the counter. The staff is friendly-busy, so they don’t chat much. The food is AMAZING. The rest is part of the experience.

I’ve been seeing this spot and wanted to give it a shot. First thing off the bat is online ordering for take out is so frustrating because they do not have their prices listed anywhere. So you will have no idea what you’re paying until you pick it up or ask on the phone. I got the carne asada fries which were really good. I liked the fries and the flavors. However for $18 they lacked the other toppings like tomatoes, onions, sour cream. In the photo you can see what I mean. Mostly cheese and meat. There was none hiding underneath either. The carne asada was delicious but it wasn’t cut up. It was a hassle to eat with my fries. I had to cut it up myself. Seems like for the price and quality and portions being off it wasn’t worth $18. Sooo many fries not enough toppings. Please update menu items and prices online.

Well ya gotta love the menus, both the one on the wall and the one at the front desk! Either prices are going up so fast that they can’t keep up or it’s actually a game show and I was supposed to guess the prices. Both menus had the prices covered in tape. I suppose I could have asked, but the server also could have offered. It’s just a little weird, as if they are trying to be like one one them fancy french places where they they don’t print the prices, because if you have to ask, you can’t afford it.

Well I had the Diabla de Camarones, because if a place has that, I’m going to try it. I just can’t get the image out of my head of lots of little shrimpy devils dancing around and stabbing people with their little pitchforks. And the burning brimstone, I love the idea of burning brimstone.

There was a tiny bit of confusion, I thought I ordered both tortillas and chips, but evidently I only ordered chips, although I would never know since they don’t list prices. Anyway I dug my chip into the refried beans like a gold miner scooping into a sandy river looking for gold and got exactly what most gold miners get… blah. The beans seemed to have no particular taste.
I have never understood why places like this don’t bother to season the beans. Maybe they are a garnish and are not really meant to be eaten.

Then I venture into the Camarones which are just fine and save this review from residing in the low numbers. Good solid bite, not too hot, but enough that my nose ran like a leaky shower at the YMCA. If it don’t run, then they ain’t done. This also saved the flavorless beans because I could mix the two and still find a happy place once the devilish little crustaceans were gone. Here I will add that it is always a sad moment when those bottom feeding bundles of delight are down to the last one and you are confronted with the red sea of sauce.

The place feels spacious. More open than any other Mexican place I’ve been to in years. That’s nice, particularly nowadays when eating and sitting too close to other guests feels like my Covid habits are being violated. It’s like my personal bubble has expanded like a puffer fish and all my spikes are sticking out, so having a little space is great, plus people can’t hear me snarfling my food down. Besides all that, it’s a nice environment and they seem to be making an effort, which I appreciate. There are other Mexican places where I like the food better, even without the ambiance, but it’s not bad and I’ll give it another shot at some point and see if I can bump the rating up a notch. Maybe by that time they will have changed the menu so I can see the prices before deciding on a meal.
