We recently visited Jai Thai and absolutely loved it!

The tofu starter was incredibly soft and full of flavor. We also tried a soup that was so unique and tasty — very different from what we’ve had at other Thai places. For the main course, the Pad Kee Mao was delicious and perfectly prepared.

The ambience is lovely, the owner is one of the sweetest people, and the staff is very kind and welcoming.

If you’re in Seattle, give this place a try — I’m sure it’ll become your go-to spot too

I think they serve the best vegetarian Thai dishes in Seattle. We ordered Pad kee mao, crispy garlic tofu, green curry, fresh rolls, thai ice tea, maui ice tea, gulab jamun and mango with sticky rice. All the dishes were very flavourful as Asians like but my favourite were crispy garlic tofu and pad kee mao. The service was super great and they were willing to customise our order on spice level and add/remove some ingredients from our dishes. The portion size was good and the vibe was nice too. Usually other Thai restaurants do not serve mango with sticky rice in winters and I was surprised to see that they were. The mango was very tasty though. We ordered everything with spice level of 4/5 which was a little bit more spicy for me so next time I ll go with 3. I will go back again soon to try other dishes as well.

Me and my family (no other photos since we already started eating when they were taken, their plates were devoured) ate here for lunch today! Something that really stood out to me was how different the seasonings were for everything.
A problem I usually see in my very unseasoned and criticless eyes is every dish tasting very similar in a restaurant. I was very impressed when everything tasted different!
That being said, everything was super yummy!!!!! I’m definitely going again!!!

From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place is special. The owners are unbelievably kind and welcoming, and they genuinely care about their customers, which makes the whole experience feel personal and memorable. The food comes out impressively fast, but nothing feels rushed or low-quality—every dish is fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is incredibly cool and inviting, with a vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy every minute. Whether you’re coming in for a quick bite or a relaxed meal, this place delivers on every level. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be coming back!

The Tom Kha soup was way too sweet, I could not even drink it, with woody chicken pieces. Spring rolls were miserably small, and the fried fish was not fresh, even with visible guts inside. The waiter had a good attitude and waived the fish from the bill, but overall, think twice before coming here for Thai food.

Jai Thai in Seattle is a fire spot for food. I genuinely loved it. I’ve had their crab rangoons, Phad See Ew with chicken, and crab fried rice, and everything was so good. The rangoons were crispy and the ratio of crab to cream cheese was perfect. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the fried rice had a great flavor. What really stood out was their spice; it’s got a good kick but actually tastes good, not just hot for no reason. The portions are big, the vibe is chill, and the staff is super friendly. It’s proximity to the UW is also convenient, and makes it a good spot to go w my friends. Definitely a spot I’d go back to if I’m craving Thai food.

We ordered the pineapple fried rice and Panang curry, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The pineapple fried rice was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and had a great balance of sweetness and spice. The Panang curry was rich, creamy, and full of authentic Thai flavors, with just the right level of heat.

Overall, Jai Thai offers great food, a lovely ambience, and a very enjoyable dining experience. We will definitely be coming back again

Went as a group of seven, and while parking was a little tricky at first, we found plenty of free parking on the nearby side streets. The restaurant has a beautiful, cozy aesthetic—perfect for a cold evening.

We started with hot sake and the appetizer platter, which had a great mix of options and was a perfect warm-up for the meal. For the main course, I ordered the Chef’s Special Crispy Garlic Chicken, and it absolutely delivered. The deep, rich sauce paired with the perfectly crispy chicken was an incredible combination. The portion size was huge—I ended up having leftovers for two more meals, and it somehow stayed just as crispy and flavorful.

Wrapped the night with fried ice cream to finish off an already fantastic meal.

Cannot recommend this place enough!

Long wait at Kin Len? Maybe consider walking a few steps further to Jai Thai!

We walked right in and got seated at the most cozy table. The interior decor is so inviting and music the perfect level to focus on your table’s conversation.

Drinks were delicious (order Ginny D’s Champagne), and the food was mouth watering, heart warming, and a burst of soulful flavor.

The service was so friendly and good came out quickly! We will never wait in line knowing Jai Thai is right around the corner!

This restaurant is beautiful! The aesthetic is great definitely a place I’d love clicking pictures in

Even the food was delicious, spice levels are great. I usually get the spiciest and it does not disappoint. The vegetarian options are great too. The meat is well cooked and the food is authentic.

The staff is also super nice, service is on time and they are very hospitable and kind.

I can’t stop talking about them, theres too many good things to say. 100% recommend and yes would love to visit again!! Gonna be a Thai staple now
