Clean, friendly and welcoming upon entering. Our hostess/waitress was very patient and well versed in what was on the menu. She went as far as to tell me how to reheat my leftovers. Very nice. The food was very tasteful, favors were amazing. We were even ask how hot would we like our heat level meduim . And they did as we ask. Love the shrimp spring rolls. The shrimp drunken noodles so yummy! Totally coming back for more.

Jai Dee Thai Kitchen has the BEST authentic Thai Cuisine in the Knoxville area by far! The Thai spices and flavors are superb. The portions are healthy and the people are lovely. The food is consistent every time and priced reasonably. My favorites are the Pad Thai, Panang Curry, Gyoza, and the Pineapple Pound Cake. I highly recommend this Knoxville Gem!

The atmosphere was quaint and clean.
Staff was helpful and friendly.
Lots of free parking and is handicap accessible.

Picked up a to go order from door dash, DON’T do that or you will get ripped off! The pad Thai tasted good but only had half the protein promised. 4 shrimp on an 18$ dish is ridiculous. I pointed it out to the restaurant and they still refused to fix it. I will not be returning. The ticket and receipt even said 8 shrimp per meal.
Also the Cheesecake minis said 4 on the menu, but I only received 3 and not even the ones I chose.
I’d find a different restaurant unless you want to get ripped off.

THIS is how you do fried rice!!! Ordered the crab fried rice and Thai tea to go and it was ready in like 10 minutes while I was still driving to the restaurant! It did not disappoint, and tastes like my favorite fried rice from Hong Kong. I’ll be coming back for sure!

I recently ordered takeout from Jai Dee Thai Kitchen, and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered two dishes—Vegetable Vietnamese Pho with added beef Angus strips and Shrimp Pad Thai—but what I received was far from what was advertised.
1. Vegetable Vietnamese Pho with Angus Beef (What I ordered) $16.50
What I got instead:
• A bowl of Tom Yum soup, not pho
• The broth was sour, bland, and oddly spicy, with none of the clean, aromatic flavors that Vietnamese pho usually has
• The vegetables included carrots, broccoli, baby corn, and red bell peppers, which do not belong in pho
• The rice noodles were soggy and mushy to the point where they broke apart when trying to lift them with chopsticks — completely overcooked and unpleasant
• No distinct pho seasoning, no herbs, no proper broth aroma, and no resemblance to the dish I ordered
This wasn’t even a “different interpretation” of pho — it was simply not pho at all.
2. Shrimp Pad Thai (What I ordered) $18
What I got instead:
• The exact same soggy rice noodles used in the soup
• Stir-fried in a sour, spicy Thai sauce that had nothing to do with pad thai
• No peanut flavor, no sweetness, no tamarind, no balance — none of the signature elements of pad thai
• Only a few pieces of onion leaves, zero bean sprouts, no egg, and barely any shrimp
• Overall flavor was bland, sour, and completely unlike pad thai
This dish was so far from what pad thai should taste like that it felt like a completely different entrée mislabeled as pad thai.
Overall Experience
Both dishes tasted bland, sour, and poorly prepared. The noodles were unacceptably soggy, and neither dish matched what was ordered or what was expected based on the menu. It honestly felt like the wrong items were sent, or the kitchen substituted ingredients without any regard to accuracy.
For the price and expectation of authentic Thai/Vietnamese dishes, this was a major letdown. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one so future customers know what to expect.
I would not recommend Jai Dee Thai Kitchen based on this order.

Disappointed. It wasn’t bad. Just disappointed. I ordered the pad Thai and an order of spring rolls. The spring rolls were great. The pad Thai had good flavor, however, this is definitely not pad thai. It was just a pile of noodles and a few pieces of chicken – it did have peanuts and a few sprouts. There were no vegetables, no eggs, and did not use the traditional noodles. I wish it had what a true pad Thai has because the flavor was good. Just not what I was looking for. The server was also kinda rude and demanding – not friendly.

Wow wow wow!!! Top tier Thai restaurant. The menu is packed with great dishes and is near the inskip area Knoxville TN. I just had the yellow curry chicken dish, it was satisfactory for sure. I’ll be back to try a different dish each time. Great prices too. Friendly friendly service too. Can handle large groups too since they have high capacity kitchen and full staff. Definitely try this place out!
