We highly recommend Jah’Nya’s for catering your special events. I am sure there is no event too large or too small. They catered our family reunion this July in Hilton Head! Impeccable service. Everyone raved about the food with Zero Complaints. There was more than enough food: Jerk Chicken, Curry Chicken, Salmon, White Rice, Rice and Peas, The best Cabbage ever, Fried Sweet Plantains, Patties, Rum Cake! You name it and you cannot go wrong with the soul and flavor of the islands right at your doorstep. The price is right and the service even better! I don’t believe they can be matched for the area, so don’t think twice. Maybe go and try a plate at their restaurant, then book. I am sure you will be glad you did. Thank you, Mr. Watts and blessings upon your business! One more note if you are not convinced: I have many cooks in my family from the East, South, and Northeast, and not a single one had anything to say but Delicious! If you are looking for delicious food in Hilton Head or Beaufort, catering options with flair, look no more for this authentic experience. Go the catered way!!

The employee/owner at this restaurant was really rude. I ordered the oxtail dinner and my fiancé ordered curry chicken. When he went to pick up the food- the owner didn’t want to speak- she made it seem like we bothered her coming in the restaurant. The food was good but I will not support this business anymore. I cannot take someone being rude cooking my food.

Small place. It’s possible that the menu item you want will not be available. Ask first. Waited 25 minutes for fish and chips. No prices on display but a medium jerk chicken dish was $12 and a large $15. The dish is served with more peas and rice than anything. Sides $4-5. It was difficult to enjoy hot food in heat and humidity in a restaurant with no AC, but I’m not local.

We got the red snapper fried hard, brown stew chicken, my son got the wing and fries. Everything was cooked and flavored to perfection. We will definitely be back. I can’t wait to try the other menu items.

The Curry Goat was very tender and you could taste the curry. It doesn’t contain coconut or any exotic spices, it’s your typical yellow curry flavors and wasn’t spicy, sweet, or full of cinnamon type spices. The goat is chopped and on the rib bone, but there are some potatoes and other meat only pieces. The rice and peas was flavorful but not extremely seasoned, you could serve it to a lot of different people and it wouldn’t get the negative reviews some people give. The cabbage and carrots was simple and rustic, soft and slightly sweet. The jerk chicken had some heat, but it definitely has some homemade flare to it, though it’s not exotically seasoned. I wasn’t biased and enjoyed the flavor, i enjoyed eating it. Unfortunately, there were no plantains with my meal and it was $18, I wanted plantains for that price. I also ordered delivery and didn’t receive my ginger beer. I have also had their patties and if you like fried food with fillings these are a quick grab and go side. Overall I think the food is good and a classically simple take on dishes with many local origins, so I’m not unsatisfied with the opportunity to have a meal with international fame. It would be nice to eat some plantains though, but obviously you might have to show up before 1:30 to get them, the delivery driver said a lot of items sell out pretty quick. With delivery paying that extra $5-$15 dollars comes with some higher expectations, but please don’t send your meal back restaurants need money to offer these special dishes or else we’d all be ordering Dairy Queen and KFC and getting overpriced frozen chicken.
