I truly love this place. It’s a hidden gem in the heart of the Lindenhurst village. They have some of the best combinations I’ve seen. You can order a plate that will include several different things to try such as ceviche, jalea, arroz con mariscos, papa a la huancaína and so many more things and everything I’ve had has been delicious. I encourage you to try this if you haven’t had Peruvian and support this local restaurant ran by a local family.

It was my first time coming to this restaurant and I must say I will never go back. I will start with the restaurant appearance first. It looked dirty and out dated. Which I try to over look hoping that the food would compensate for the dingy atmosphere.
The service was at first ok. No one came to attend us my family and I had to go up to someone and ask if it’s okay to sit down. They never came to ask if the food was okay or if we needed anything. So service sucked which again I was hoping at least the food would compensate.
Now for the food. I must say it was the absolute WORST peruvian food I have ever had in my life. I been to countless of peruvian restaurants with my family driving as far to New Jersey/ porchester/ queens/ nyc you name it. Though I had bad experience but never as bad as this restaurant. This restaurant should be embarrass to even claim they sell peruvian food.
The food was so disgusting old and stale. My mother got 1/2 pollo ala brasa (rotisserie chicken) that came with salchipapas and a salad. She also order a large chicken soup on the side. My friend and I order the arroz verde (green rice) one with bistec (steak) and pollo (grilled chicken).
The chicken was so old and stale that it caused my mother to have an upset stomach. The only good thing was the salad and the French fries. Her soup was not even a large it was an 6 oz bowl and barely had any chicken. Our green rice was okay however, the peas were undercooked you know like when you eat frozen peas. The papa la huancaina that came with the green rice was ATROCIOUS. I took one bite and spit it out. The potatoes were undercooked and the sauce was completely stale. My friend didn’t eat the papa a la hauncaina, did not eat the eat steak and some of the green rice. It was embarrassing. Oh and I forgot to mention the sauces were also watery and stale. It seemed like it was out for weeks or something but the green sauce was gross. The bill came out to more than $80 for food we did not eat and spit out. When we told the waiter he just smirked and didn’t care to even give a discount or accommodate with our situation. It was absolutely an awful experience but what really it’s so disrespectful remembering that smirk face he had made because he found it funny.
I highly recommend AVOIDING this restaurant if that’s what you want to call it. There are far better places with better service, cleanliness and tastier food.

I have to say I NEVER post a review but I do read them before I order or I go to a restaurant. As a peruvian girl I MISS my food. The IT that makes you feel back home. I have tried my fare share of restaurant on LI and NYC and there are a few good memorable ones… but since I live in Bethpage.. I want to look for something near me.
So.. I LOOOOOOOVE the food. So far I have tried chaufa, broster, ceviche, salchipapa (con toooooooodas sus cremas), arroz con mariscos, alfajores, causa, jalea, combinado criollo, and today I tried desayuno ( pan con pescado frito) and osea… toooodo es delicioso!!! This place hits all the notes with flavors and takes me back to Peru. The real flavors.. caseros… you feel you are going to your casera del huequito suuuuper caleta del mercado. This is a little hidden gem!
Thank you and cant wait to keep trying more delicious dishes. just TRY ANYTHING and EVERYTHING in the menu.

This used to be a small dinner in town and now it’s a small mom and pop Peruvian Restaurant. They had the good idea to keep their dinner staples, specially breakfast. However I went there for Peruvian food and oh boy! The food was DELICIOUS. I’m the kind of person who dives in comments to check product’s experience from other users and the same goes for restaurants. I red some of the comments, the good and the bad and went for my own experience… and I’m glad I did. The place has that classic American dinner, had some Peruvian music in the background. Went with some relatives and we order Rotisserie Chicken (Pollo a la Brasa), some Chaufa (Peruvian-Chinese fusion) and Seafood. Very generous portions. We were pleased. Tasty food. I was concerned since one of my relatives is a very picky eater but even she gave her stamp of approval. After that, I became a regular ordering food for lunch time. They do local delivery and I heard they are also on Uber Eats and GrabHub (But I would confirm the second). I really don’t understand some of the negative comments, perhaps bad luck that day? For me, every time I go there, I get a good service and the food never disappoints. I highly recommend this place!

First time there & if I could leave zero stars I would. Customer service was horrible. Overpriced food and it was not edible. I never leave negative reviews but I don’t wish this unfortunate experience on anyone. Was looking forward to authentic Peruvian cuisine and this was def not it at all. I will never go back.
