This is more of a carry out than it is a dine in place. You can see in the first picture that seating is limited ,and all meals are served in Styrofoam containers. The tea is bottled and very very sweet ( not bad if you are a Southerner). The third picture is the shrimp bucket I had $15.99, the taste was ok,not very seasoned though. The fourth picture was of the shrimp basket with double fries $12.99 It actually had more flavor than the shrimp pot ( wait time from order to pick up 23 minutes). . I’d say this place is ok at best, but this is based only from the meals that I sampled.

I won’t b eating there anymore. Fish is good. I ordered 2 catfish dinners with greens and Mac and cheese. A hr later, I was handed a plate and was told that they put the 2 orders on the same plate. Lies. Only one order. They apologized and gave me a free soda. A hr later handed mr a plate with fish, red beans and rice and green beans. I didn’t order those sides for the second plate. They gave me what they wanted me to hv. I definitely didn’t want to wait another hr for them to fix the sides. When I arrived home, I noticed I wasn’t eating catfish they gave me whitefish instead. Two different textures. Nice try guys. What a rip off. I tried calling the restaurant but I only got a recording to leave a message.

I ordered pork chops, macaroni, greens, cornbread muffin and peach cobbler. All of it tasted great with the exception of the collard greens… THE PEACH COBBLER WAS FANTASTIC!!! Will definitely be back and recommend to others as well

I’m new to the area and after days of eating pizza and sandwiches, I wanted a hot, home style meal.
I found my “spot!” I got a little of a few things and was quite satisfied.
The catfish was fried to perfection and was still sizzling when I got home! The greens were delicious, not sure how she made them flavorful when I didn’t see any meat, still pleased! The red beans and rice….OMG! Yummy. I also wanted to taste the while fried chicken wings, order 2 and the nice cook gave me 4. The hook-up was in the seasoning, they were good so good I ate those first!
And last but not least, peach cobbler and my favorite drink…Sorrel. I loved every minute eating and drinking those.
We had leftovers, not because of all that I ordered but because the portion of food the give.
I’m now going to make this one of my regular eating places, plus I felt like a family friend when I was there!

First of all the customer service is A1!! Hands down they went above and beyond! We ordered fried Whiting, mac n cheese, greens, shrimp boil and peach cobbler. The amount of food you get for the price is impressive. Everything was delicious. Our only complaint was the peach cobbler it must have been the last couple of pieces because it was all crust. Would we go back? Definitely!!

Customer service is nice. I believe that was the owner. The food was extremely salty though. I didn’t get to finish my meal. Ribs are marinated with SOY Sauce and then cooked with soy sauce. Legs are swelling.
Crab pot was over seasoned with old bay. Asked for garlic butter and it was regular butter. Will try again and I hope everything works out for them.

This place is AMAZING!!! We were in town for the weekend and decided to try it out on Saturday. We ordered so many different things from the menu because there were 11 of us and there was not 1 single complaint. It was so good the first time that we had to return Sunday evening! In addition to the great food, the Customer Service was awesome as well. Very friendly and welcoming! I definitely can’t wait to visit again so I can pop in and get more of the Oxtails and Mac & Cheese!

I’ve been going to Jah Grille since I moved to the area over a year ago and the food is consistently good. Always FRESH and my order is always accurate. The owner always greets me with a smile and seems to appreciate every customer. I would definitely recommend ordering ahead. Everything is made to order so plan to wait 30-45 minutes on a walk-in order. I am withholding 1 star because they do not accept phone orders. It can sometimes be a bit of a hassle to log into the website to order ahead BUT this is an inconvenience I’m willing to continue to put up with for delicious food and great service.

What a gem! This restaurant was a truly wonderful and unique experience. I highly recommend you try everything. The best collard greens I have ever had in my life and the catfish was perfect!!! I only wish it were closer to where I live in Virginia. This will definitely be a destination of future travels. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
