Stopped in because of the amazing reviews and I wasn’t disappointed. The warm inviting hosts made us feel super good. I luckily ran into a thanksgiving buffet they are having and everything from ham to fried chicken was available and incredible. Run down here and enjoy some home cooked food.

Absolutely beautiful atmosphere and very clean. The portions are huge so you get plenty of food for the fair price.
The seafood pasta was the absolute star of the show. It was super creamy with just the right amount of seafood in it so you’re not fishing for pieces of seafood. The seasoning in it was perfection.
The fried fish was well-seasoned and crispy with that beautiful flake you expect out of fish.
I’m very picky about green beans so was iffy when I heard they were the vegetable of the day, but they were absolutely amazing.
The mac and cheese was some of the creamiest I’ve ever had. The blend of cheeses was obvious, and you could tell this isn’t just average mac and cheese. It was just so good.
The owner was there, and he was very friendly and chatty making us feel right at home. We even had the privilege of meeting his sweet mama.
I could go on and on, but I think y’all get my drift. If you skip out on this place you really missing out on some good real cooking.

“If you are looking for an incredible meal, look no further. Chef Terry is a true professional; the attention to detail and depth of flavor here is something you usually only find in high-end city spots.
Our server, Ronjae, provided service that was absolutely outstanding. Before we even ordered, he told us we wouldn’t need to touch the salt or pepper because the food was ‘off the charts’ flavorful—and he was 100% right.
We ordered the pasta and fish plate. The pasta with the shrimp and crawfish was incredible! I am not usually a big fish person, but this was outstanding—if I could get it prepared that well everywhere, I’d order it every day. And whatever you do, don’t skip the bread pudding. It was out of this world!
Pro Tip: If you happen to get there on a Thursday, you would be wise to purchase some of Crystal’s pralines. They’re incredible!

Wow, we ate there in June, and the food was so amazing. It was good comfort food, cook amazingly right, not over salted or over greased. We ate food from red beans and rice to loaded potato, wings, seafood pasta. The service was amazing, the manager and owner spectacular. Eating there is an experience. I can’t even imagine how amazing the buffet is. We have starred on our map to return to when we get back there. They gave so much information on local festivals and places to see, they even helped us find frozen alligator meat at a local grocery store. If you are looking for a great place to eat, please consider this business. highly recommended.

The cashier was very nice and informative. I ordered the white beans with potato salad and fish but I got chicken instead BUT it’s some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. The white beans and potato salad were excellent as well!!! I already started eating before I snapped a pic.

Wow, where to begin! My family of five is on vacation from Detroit, MI and we had just gone on an airboat tour when we googled local restaurants. We landed on this gem, Jae Flem. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, we were well taken care of with the utmost hospitality. And the food!! Let me tell you, you will not be disappointed. The fish, chicken, shrimp, Mac n cheese, and especially the crab cakes were all spectacular. Plus, the dessert! Do yourself a favor and check this place out.
