Always packed on weekend evenings. I recommend calling ahead to reserve a table. No wait and we did that basically 1.5 hours ahead of time. Service is excellent here.
Lots of people in the restaurant, and some of the tables are harder to hear at than others. If you have elderly or hard of hearing folks, ask for a corner table or in a quieter section.
Good prices but on the side of fine dining Chinese for sure, so more expensive than most places.

Wow, what a great Chinese restaurant! My experience has been that getting good Chinese food is hard to do unless you find the hidden gems. Or if you want to try and take a trip down to Chinatown, which I don’t have any idea where that is even in Phoenix area. But I’ve tried a ton of Chinese places and I have to say Jade Palace is in the top 1% of all of them. No I will say the atmosphere is a little old feeling, as is the clientele, but the food is amazing. Oh and the service is amazing! Even if you’re getting takeout, the young women that run the front take out area and check-in area are wonderful! I highly recommend you check out their spicy dishes. And while you’re at it try the egg roll so good.

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner. It was very crowded but our server didn’t rush us out the door.
We all agreed the food was outstanding. My son said this was the best Chinese dinner he has had in the 16 yrs living in AZ. They really know how to do beef dishes. The meat was so tender and the soups were perfect.

The Peking Duck was absolutely amazing. The walnut shrimp was epic and the scallops melted my mouth. The crab puffs didn’t meet my expectations but that was fine because the other food made up for it.
The services was a little slow but all the tables were full so it was understandable.

No other restaurant in the area can compare for overall value & experience. Food is great! There’s a reason why they do millions in takeout alone. The bar is great! Ask for the “off the menu” Singapore Noodles…phenomenal!!

I witnessed different treatment between a customer and a delivery driver. The hosts were hypocritical toward the customer and rude to the delivery driver. This happened repeatedly—at least three times—while I was waiting for a table. Because of that, I decided to leave the restaurant. Everyone should be treated with respect.

I will never be visiting this restaurant for dinner again.. First they rush you before you sit down. When the waitress came over she said you only have a short time for your reservation. REALLY!!! That’s no way to enjoy dinner. So we ordered dinner anyway. The food was so salty . It was really not good to eat. We left most of it. Very disappointed!!!

Excellent service. Good food. Portions ok and pricey. We drove to try this place. Was very impressed with the wait staff. We never needed to ask for anything. They boxed our food to go. We ordered take out as well and it came right away. Soup was $6 and came with chips and duck sauce. We got two entree and it came with a small bowl of rice, they brought us more rice when needed. We thought for over $20 for an entree the portions could have been bigger. The lo-main had good flavor. We got hot tea. Again the rating is for the prices.

Family of five avid Chinese take-out eaters came to the unanimous decision that the food quality of Jade Palace was pretty repulsive. The orange chicken in particular was borderline nauseating. Its texture was comparable to steak fat…big oof. They also forgot items off our order. Maybe Jade palace would be worth it if their menu was priced 50% off because that’s about the quality. Otherwise, never again.

I attempted to make a reservation for a party of 2 for Christmas Day. I called on Dec 18 about 5PM. I was told to call the next day after 12PM, as they were too busy with the dinner crowd to take down my info. I called, as requested, on Dec 19 shortly after 12PM. I was told that they could not book a reservation for me at that moment, but would be in touch by Dec 21 to advise the time that they could accommodate. Dec 21 has come and gone, without a call from the restaurant. Regardless of how nice the restaurant and food may be, I will never frequent the restaurant again due to this utter lack of professionalism and customer courtesy.
