Jade Palace Restaurant
My brother-in-law took us to this restaurant especially to introduce us to their lobster — and what an amazing experience it was!
They offer a complete and very well-organized buffet, with a great variety of dishes, all very flavorful. The soups and the wonton are authentic and delicious.
The lobster is truly the highlight of the place — absolutely outstanding and incredibly tasty. A real showstopper!
The service was very good and friendly. We believe the lady who welcomed us was the owner — she was extremely kind, warm, and attentive to our family, which made the experience even more special.
Thank you very much, and see you next time. We will take this wonderful experience with us to Brazil with great affection.
I enjoy all the windows and natural light. I wish there would have been music playing. But fun to see the robot making its way from the kitchen to the register with to go orders on them.
The food was OK and they had a decent variety on the buffet. It’s not a huge buffet, but it’s big enough to cover most of what you might be interested in. Service was excellent, and our waitress was very attentive. They had wonton soup and hot and sour soup, a few shrimp, dishes, and items as well as chicken, both fried and sautéed and I believe broccoli and beef. A few dessert items such as cookies and pudding and some fruit. Prices were very reasonable at about $15 for dinner. They had a few vegetable items, but not as much as I would have expected. All in all it was an acceptable meal.
1. The hosts- she was on her phone when we walked in. She seated us then went and sat back down and got right back on her phone. How do I know? Because she didn’t even put her phone on silent, so the whole restaurant could hear everything she was watching on social media.
2. The young lady waiting on us was nice enough. During our dinner, she sat at another table adjacent to ours with another young man wrapping silverware. That is totally fine. WHATS NOT FINE IS THAT SHE WAS LITERALLY DIGGING IN HER NOSE AND WIPING IT ON TABLECLOTH AND THEN HANDLING SILVERWARE ! I almost threw up right there at the table. She didn’t think anyone was watching. I still paid my bill of almost $40 for 2 adult buffets (even though my daughter is underage) just to get the hell out of there. DO NOT go here unless you don’t care about cleanliness and you have money to blow. I will NEVER go back.
The restaurant also has a buffet, which had little variety, but the quality of each dish was good, which is probably why there were so many customers.
I thought it was traditional Chinese food. I am happy to give a 5-star review.
Thanks
I think everyone there got the buffet. I did take a peek of the choices and it’s your regular american chinese food, which is a great deal for $10. Dimsum selection was great tho and inexpensive.
