These people are very stingy been a returning customer but today was the last time.I ordered salt and pepper fish with shrimp fried rice I usually go in but I was at work and ordered I asked them if I could get sweet n sour they told me .55 which i couldnt give because I was not there it was through grub hub ,they told me no didnt even give me atleast because I wasnt there to give the .55 told me I could find sweet n sour sauce somewhere else.Not the mention multiple pieces of the fish was hard as a brick.I will not be spending my money with these people anymore.

Jade’s Palace is a decent spot among Oakland’s Chinese eateries. It’s a simple takeout place with a massive menu and generous portions. I had the chicken fried rice and salted fish; both were pretty good. The atmosphere is brighter than many other places around. The staff could be friendlier, but overall, it’s a reliable spot if you’re in the mood for Chinese food.

I ordered a combo with sweet sour pork, 2sodas, and one cheese cake slice.
The dried fried ribs looked un eatable, which I didn’t eat and I’m going to give them to the neighbors dog ,so my money won’t be wasted.
The sweet and sour pork was not tasty and had too much flour and very gooey.
Only the rice I was able to eat, but I didn’t want to eat the chicken in it.
I ordered from Jade Palace for many years and never left a review.
THAT’S WHY I WAS VERY VERY VERY VERY! DISAPPOINTED!
It was so bad that I would have took it back and got my money.
I didn’t want to waste more money on a Lyft.
I’m thinking to never order there again, because of this meal and a few others that I had a problem with lately.

I drove all the way from Union city to Oakland for my fix of Chinese food as I wanted some good dry fried ribs. And I will not be making this trip again as my food was terrible. my rice was flavorless and only had 6 shrimp can you believe it 6 shrimp and to make it worse my ribs tasted like they were cooked in burnt grease yuck we threw the whole meal away. What a waste of time and my 45.00 . Yes yall 45.00 for 2 meals of terrible food . We should have just went to panda express

Good authentic Chinese food. The hype is real about the Salt& Pepper Ribs!! They give a 10% discount if you pay with cash. Parking sucks, but it’s worth circling the block a couple times.

Fried rice tasted like chemicals, but I’ll say the 2 different chicken items that I’ve gotten was either recycled from the afternoon or they fried the chicken for way too long. No meat, all crunchy overly fried flour.

Ordered the Honey Walnut Prawn Lunch Special. They literally put coleslaw dressing on the prawns. NOT honey walnut prawn sauce. Tasted more tart than the traditional sauce which is more thick and sweet. The sauce was watery and didn’t have any honey and sweetened condensed milk.
Came out to $15 after taxes. At first the lady said it was $17 but I asked her the menu said the price was $13 before taxes then she corrected herself. Could’ve been an honest mistake tho but maybe not??

I just placed an order in person for veggie chow mein and sesame tofu. I guess I should have checked it before I left? I got veggie chow mein and veggie fried rice. Not sure how that’s what she heard from what I said. So I paid $30+ for chow mein and a couple of egg rolls. There’s a DOLLAR charge for debit or credit. That’s a pretty wild fee imo. Pretty bummed my first time there my order was wrong. A huge container of something that won’t get eaten.the chow mein is fine, greasy noodle as usual nothing fancy. Egg rolls were hot, based on other reviews that’s a plus.
