We stopped by for a quick bit. Thought it was a to-order restaurant but turned out to be a buffet.
Some selections were fine though most of the dishes with sauces left a bit to be desired. The General Tso’s chicken for example. The sauce was thick and sweeter than usual.
The pepper chicken was fine as well as the shrimp dishes.

It’s maybe the best Chinese buffet in Monroe. Food is consistent. They kept everything full and fresh, even at 3pm. Great job!!

One thing about Jade is if you want or need something fresh off the buffet they are going to make it! I love it here!! The black pepper chicken is phenomenal and the front desk cashier is always nice!

Was greeted/seated promptly and enjoyed the food, but the waitress never refilled my iced tea… Cooked crab salad could use more baked cheese on top and a bit less oil/butter but the flavor was great. Stuffed mushrooms need less onion to me. The cream cheese wonton, dumplings, fried zucchini coins, orange, sesame, and bourbon chicken were all tasty. Try the marinated chicken on a stick. Like the few sushi choices too.

Haven’t been to Jade in several years. Thought we would give it another try. Now I remember why I haven’t been in so long. The waitress yelled at us from her location about half way in the room and motioned us to our table in the back. Couldnt get off her phone call to be bothered greeting us at the door. But to the food…it was terrible!! I tried several options hoping to find at least one bright spot but no luck. All of the sauces on the chicken dishes were like glue. The noodles were gummy and old. Nothing we ate seemed fresh. Just plain bad all the way around. Waste of 30.00 bucks! Might try it again in several more years but could go with never going there again.

The food just isn’t good anymore, everything I had today was horrible. The waitresses/servers are so rude, they throw things on your table and seem like they don’t want to be bothered. I wasn’t even in there 20mins before I got up to leave, I doubt if I’ll ever go back!!

My mother in law ordered some food from there that I’ve picked up . When she called to tell them the ordered wasnt right , the lady on the phone rudely told her to return the food and to never come back . If that’s how they treat there customer , I will NEVER come back . Word of advice , never be rude to the people that keeps your restaurant open.

The prices were more than expected (but the menus on here were 5-6 years old) for ordering take out a little more than $20 per person. The buffet is a better deal. The steamed dumplings came with a spicy sauce that leaked, and the honey chicken was not what was expected (it was red instead of a golden sauce). Otherwise great service, and atmosphere. My husband loved his general Tso’s, and the wonton soup was delicious.
