If you enjoy Chinese food give this place a try! This family has been running the restaurant for roughly 20 years. The pandemic has hit small businesses like this one hard and I would hate to see them have to close down. Don’t be put off by the low lighting right now, they have shut off whatever they can to conserve power. They make everything fresh and the woman at the counter is so nice and always make a point of genuinely thanking me several times for my business. Nothing fancy but it is great to have a local Chinese food option. Show them some support!

If I could give zero stars I would. The food is horrible and the menu is extremely limited. If you are wanting Chinese food, I would recommend making the drive to Topeka or Lawrence because the chicken fried rice I ordered was not fit for human consumption. The Lawrence Jade Garden really got our hopes up but we will definitely not be back!

Great food, friendly staff. The restaurant is a family owned restaurant the owner alway asks how the family is doing. One of my favorite places to eat. Prices are fair and the portions are perfect in to go orders. The buffet is always fresh when it is going.

Food is good! Lu is so nice, she gets to know you and your family. Very caring, deifinetly keeps me coming back when I want to splurge a little. We don’t have much local, so I want to support our small town especially if they are as nice as this family.

I enjoy their food but there is very little meat and lots of vegetables. Awesome egg rolls and cream cheese fried wontons! Excellent customer service, super nice family. The restaurant is in serious need of a facelift. Lucky to have this place in such a small town.

Only thing good were the egg rolls. Moo shu pork had 95% vegetables, schezuan chicken had 95% vegetables, forgot out plum sauce and pancake things, and all the prices were raised. $35 and threw the majority away. Definitely a place to skip. Unless you only want veggies.

Horrible place to get food, the food tasted ok, but not good enough to deal with the insane food poisoning I had for days, I was in so much pain and couldn’t eat, I even tried to eat there food again maybe a few weeks later and same thing happened, toilet ended up being my best friend . The food is generally very good for the Midwest. Be reasonable and don’t expect San Francisco. If you are sensitive to MSG or sulphites exercise some care, especially with the soups. The entrées are very good if you eat at a fairly early hour while the kitchen is bustling.
