Been coming here for around 5 years and Jade Garden is easily my favorite Chinese place in Portage. You get a lot of food for the price, the food always tastes good, and it’s quick! The lady at the counter is always very quick and friendly also!

Tried this place because New Hong Kong in Hobart is closed on Monday’s. I can’t explain why, but the eggroll tastes like bleach. The beef and broccoli was ok ( most of it was broccoli)and the General Taos was fine but that egg roll was disgusting. Food shouldn’t taste like cleaning products…weird. Wont be back I’ll wait till Tuesday next time and go see my dude Peter Tam at NHK.

Take out only. Nice Lady to take order, kind and polite. Pork Lo Mein was good. The Pork is delicious. Chicken Egg Foo Yung was good. Egg Rolls not so good. No Spring Rolls. Egg Drop Soup lacked flavor.

No inside dining allowed. Service was great for ordering but the Mongolian beef entree comes with RAW onions in it. Takes over the entire dish so you cannot taste anything else. The Egg roll is not good at all. I expected a lot better.
