I apologise to give out this many low stars but I have to say this. I’m from nyc and this is the very first time I’ve ever been to this place. I walked into this place thinking I can walk up to the counter but there was a drilled out door with graffiti almost hitting my head. I had to call out to the owner from a small square hole. I got my food pretty late and went back to my hotel to find out that I don’t have any cutlery. So yeah… that made me get on google reviews to let you all know…

Literally amazing every single time. We live in kenhorst and always drive a few extra minutes or pay for delivery from jade garden because it is on POINT. The chicken, lo mein, and rice are always perfect. They usually toss in a free rice which is greatly appreciated. And don’t EVEN get me started in their crab Rangoon…. Absolute perfection. I was so shocked to see the reviews because we’ve been ordering from here for years and anytime we’ve gone elsewhere we’ve had issues!!! But NEVER a single issue here. The pricing is good, the food is better. If you’re craving Chinese RUN, don’t walk ♀️

The miso soup was great. I got an avocado salad that is an avocado on iceberg lettuce with a weird dressing applied in globs. Reminded me of sweet mayonnaise. But it grew on me and I actually ate it eventually. Tables were really sticky and the bathrooms are in need of some maintenance but the food tasted good and I didn’t even get sick.

Every time I order from Jade Garden, I always get exactly what I ordered and the food is always very, very good. My favorite dish is the General Tso’s bean curd. Their appetizers are really good. I love the steamed dumplings and crab Rangoon. Honestly everything we’ve gotten from here has been delicious. My other go to is the curry chicken. That dish is amazing. The prices are comparable to other Asian takeout menus. Always quick service, the woman that takes the orders is always very friendly. I’ve never tried the delivery service, so I can’t comment on that, I always go to pick my food up, but I have never been disappointed to be honest. and I like that you can basically make any dish they have into a combination platter, so you get fried rice and an egg roll too. It’s close to where I live and fast service so I will continue going here. They no longer have dine in, but I have been dined in, in the past. Had the same great service. It is a smaller local business so I’m happy supporting them.

The shop has sushi and Chinese food options but the flavor and taste were not very good. Moreover the service was very poor; even after requesting for water with no ice we were given icy water after waiting for 15mins. Again when we asked for a box to take the remaining food, we had to ask for plastic bag separately. Overall the restaurant was not at all good …be it food or customer service.

My son ordered through delivery service. Food was awful. Spring rolls were saturated with oil and I had to squeeze the oil out. General tsao looked and tasted like something I could not identify, with 2 overcooked pieces of broccoli florets in a bland slightly sweet unknown sauce. Ordered from here before and food was delicious. Maybe new management? Don’t know. I even wondered if I got someone else’s food. But regardless, I will never in this life order from this place again.

Spent $65 and the food definitely missed the mark. I got sushi and I had to spit every piece out because it tasted off. I also got wings and some of them still had feathers on them. Its been a while since I went there and quality has definitely tanked.

Food is usually pretty good as far as chinese food standards go. They seem to have issues with their order accuracy. If you are ever ordering from this place, check your order thoroughly (even though they staple the bags shut). Got home with my order today without the S&S sauce for the S&S Chicken and steamed dumplings without the sauce either. Both really depended on the sauce and the family won’t eat them without it. Too far away to drive back for it, so I’m just taking it on the chin….again. One day I’ll actually practice what I tell others. ♂️
