This place has quickly become one of my go-to spots in Hicksville. I’ve been here twice already and also tried their Forest Hills location, but this one really stands out. The atmosphere is stylish, open, and beautifully put together, and having their own parking lot is a big plus.

The menu is a perfect fusion of desi and Thai flavors everything I’ve tried so far has been spot-on. I’ve had the drunken noodles, spring rolls, chive pancakes, fried rice, and cauliflower Manchurian, and every dish was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the service has been consistently great. The host both times was attentive and friendly, which makes the experience worth it.

I also tried their pina colada it’s refreshing and well balanced. Even their lunch specials are worth it, with portions that definitely generous. Can’t wait to go back and try more.

This was my first time here. It is amazing. The food it’s so good. The atmosphere is so inviting, while being very relaxing. The server that we had today, his name was Tahmid. He was absolutely wonderful. As a server, he was conscientious, professional, and. very pleasant. He checked on us continuously the drinks were great. The food was great. The service was above and beyond. A place that is a must go to. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Ask for Tom he’s wonderful. I’d rather rather OK thank you

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience so others know what to expect.

This restaurant is marketed as Asian fusion, which most people typically associate with Chinese, Japanese, or other East Asian cuisines. However, the food here felt much closer to Indo-Chinese / South Asian–influenced cuisine, which should be clarified on the menu or in the restaurant description. For someone who has never had Desi-influenced food before, the flavor profile can be confusing—many dishes visually resemble East Asian dishes, but the spices and taste lean strongly toward South Asian flavors.

I ordered the beef dumplings and Mongolian beef. The dumplings were underwhelming—the filling mostly tasted like plain meat without much seasoning. The only element that felt somewhat East Asian was the soy sauce used for dipping.

The Mongolian beef was unfortunately very disappointing. It was served sitting in a noticeable puddle of oil and was extremely spicy. The oil and spice overwhelmed any other flavor in the dish. It’s honestly hard for me to get the image of that plate out of my head.

The drinks also seemed poorly mixed and tasted like they were made with inexpensive liquor and mixers.

Aesthetically, the restaurant looks beautiful online, but the space is very small in person. If you’re seated near the entrance, it honestly feels like sitting in someone’s basement, while the seating closer to the bar feels more like an actual restaurant space. There were some guests celebrating birthdays who wanted to take photos near the Buddha statue and water feature, but the layout is so tight that it’s nearly impossible to take pictures without being right on top of other diners. The seating arrangement could definitely be reconsidered to allow people to move around more comfortably.

The service was extremely fast—almost too fast. I walked in at 7:05 PM and by 7:20 PM I had already received and tasted my entrée. With so many large parties in the restaurant, it was surprising how quickly everything came out. There was essentially no time between the appetizer and main course, which made the experience feel rushed. While no one wants to spend hours waiting, having your entrée within 15 minutes of being seated feels more like fast food than a dining experience.

Another concern was the open sushi station. If the preparation area is visible to guests, it should look clean and visually organized. Unfortunately, it looked more like a storage area than a professional food preparation station.

Overall, I was disappointed with both the flavors and how the restaurant is marketed. If this is meant to be Desi-inspired or Indo-Chinese cuisine, that should be communicated clearly. I’ve never had Desi-inspired food before, and unfortunately this didn’t feel like a great introduction to it.

The only item I enjoyed was the coconut shrimp.

After explaining my concerns privately, the restaurant removed the Mongolian beef from the bill but initially tried to charge for the drinks, claiming I had consumed half of them when I had only taken a couple of sips. After discussing it further, they did remove them.

Dinner would have been about $96, which would have been reasonable for a good meal, but unfortunately the experience didn’t live up to the expectation.

One final note: the portion size for the Mongolian beef should also be reconsidered—either increase the serving size or adjust the price accordingly.

I truly hope the restaurant considers revisiting the menu, clarifying the cuisine style, and refining the overall dining experience.

This is the only picture I have since I was so upset and annoyed once the drinks and entree were placed .

Tried Jade Eatery & Lounge after seeing their IG lunch special and it’s worth the hype. The food is fresh, good portions, and brought out as soon as it’s ready. The lunch deal includes soup or salad, an appetizer, an entree and a dessert. For drinks we got the mango lassi. I will say it was more tangy than what I’m used to, but still really good.

The restaurant itself is beautiful perfect for photos with a large koi pond in the center. We were lucky to sit right next to it, which made the experience even better. The vibe is relaxed with great music, and the staff is super attentive without being overbearing.

Overall: great food, great service, and an aesthetic spot to enjoy a meal. Definitely lives up to its promotion.

Halal!!! They have something for everyone from desi food biryani to tandoori chickens, Pan-Asian food of Mongolian beef and spicy garlic noodles, to thai food of tom yum soup and drunken noodles. The teriyaki steak was cooked a perfect medium and they have plenty of delicious mocktails. The restaurant itself is decorated very nicely with a koi pond an a giant Buddha statue as a center piece. Would highly recommend this spot. I will be back for more.

Hidden Jade in Hicksville. The atmosphere is amazing. Then comes the appetizers and they touch all your tastes buds. We had Jade’s pink dream made by our alchemist Tashi. You feel like you are somewhere in the eastern mountains. We had several different dinners and all were spot on for taste and aroma. We will have to come back as there is still more foods to taste. Complements to the chef. Delicious.
