The service was good. She was very attentive , accurate and knowledgeable. I ordered a futomaki roll a pacific roll California roll and a Las Vegas roll gyoza and dumplings an egg roll and everything was absolutely perfect. The tempura banana dish was absolutely amazing too. I couldn’t be happier and everything was fresh. I highly recommend and will definitely be back.

We have been to Jade Bistro approximately 5 times in the last 5 months and have introduced 3 sets of friends to it as well. Every single time I have had a different meal and every single time they have been AWESOME! Our friends agreed and mentioned they had to put this restaurant on their hit list. The food is consistently tasty and the General Tso’s chicken, is the best we have ever had anywhere (and I get it a lot), but try the sushi rolls…
So if you are anywhere near Scotia, NY and are hungry, or even if you’re not, give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed.

My husband took me here yesterday for Valentine’s Day. We went around 1:00 there was probably another five parties there having lunch so wasn’t extremely horribly busy. Our waiter was very grumpy and acted like he didn’t want us to be there. I heard him several times when he was passing by or putting things into the computer which we were kind of sitting next to Grumble to himself and do some heavy sighing and breathing. We we’re sat down and never had a drink order put in but they did give us our menu. We put our drink order in with our food order. I am giving this place a three stars because they had probably some of the best egg rolls I’ve ever had. We ordered six of them and the weird thing was is some of them were extremely hot and some of them were kind of cold so I take that as they were not cooked at the same time or microwaved? I got the chicken tempura which was good but just a lot of fried things and not a lot of substance and my pieces of vegetable or actually pretty huge. Also my rice was cold. The vegetables actually had to be cut several times so I could eat them they were definitely not bite size for sure. The breading did taste good though and slightly greasy. My son got some variety sushi rolls which he enjoyed and my husband got a pork chop with a sweet sauce on it which he told me it was a little bit too sweet and he just wished he got the chicken. Our meal came to about $100 altogether. They gave my son and me our meals first and my husband did not get his meal until probably a good 10 minutes later. They never even said it was coming out soon or anything they said nothing .I felt guilty eating because he had nothing to eat and we wanted to eat together and they never said anything about waiting at all we almost thought they forgot his order. They did not even apologize or anything for giving him his meal way after we got ours and my son was already done eating and I just stopped eating so we could eat together so all my food got cold anyway. I think a lot of communication goes a long way and I think they have a of lack of that. We haven’t been here in a very long time and I feel like it’s kind of gone a little downhill sorry to say. Your food is good but your service in hospitality kind of lacks a little luster.

Food was good. Nigeria was good. California Roll was good. Singapore noodle was delicious. Loved this place except that Singapore noodle took too long. Other that that > everything were good.

I recently ordered from Jade Bistro in Schenectady and had a bit of a mixed experience. I tried their Citrus Pad Thai, which they delivered to me. Interestingly, despite the name, it did not really have any actual citrus flavor in the dish itself, other than the lemons and lime they provided on the side. The overall taste was much closer to lo mein than a classic Pad Thai, which was a bit disappointing.
I also tried their dessert roll, which is a unique strawberry wrapped sushi style dessert with bananas and cream. It was unusual and fun to try, but I do not think I would order it again.
Overall, Jade Bistro has some creative ideas, but the flavors did not quite match what I was expecting. If you are looking for something different, it might still be worth a try.

My son put in an order for delivery shortly after 6 PM and it took over two hours for us to get the order even though we live about 3 miles from this restaurant. I’ve had bad experiences with MELEO before, but not sure how much of this to blame on them. When his dinner finally did arrive the food was mediocre at best. He ordered a tofu dish and the tofu was mushy – it was supposed to be teriyaki but it was a very mild brown sauce, more like garlic sauce. The sushi did not seem fresh at all. We also felt it was overpriced. We eat Asian fusion all the time, this was Very disappointing. Was thinking about going to sit in the restaurant but don’t think we’ll be doing that now.

I ordered takeout from this establishment via Mealeo. My meal started off fine, albeit unmemorable. However, as I was mixing my duck sauce into my fried rice, I unearthed a large piece of a plastic freezer bag that was buried in the rice. My assumption is that the plastic was the remains of whatever bag the rice was stored in before it was cut open and cooked, meaning that the plastic was cooked in the rice and chemicals from the plastic likely were cooked into my food. Needless to say, I am disgusted by this and I will never be ordering from this establishment again.

Came here with some friends for dinner, very good and will be coming again! The Food is good and reasonably priced for the area, which isn’t the cheapest, but it’s going rate at this point.
The sushi was delicious, and very unique options compared to other places in the area. Pretty good, as we love trying different sushi rolls. Really, no problems with the food at all, very delicious.
The atmosphere was great, like a bit of a confusing decor, but it fits the restaurant. Service was intresting. It was fast, but they initially brought out a roll, then a minute later came and took it back, just saying no, and then a minute later told us it was right and handed it back.
Parking was free, there’s a lot right outside, so very convenient. Especially for the area. Peanut-friendly options! And very accommodating for allergies. We made a reservation; without it, we would have had to wait, but it was a Saturday evening.
Already have plans to come back, so check it out!

Came here on a Thursday for a night out. The food was good, and our server was incredibly attentive to my food allergies. However, service was so terribly slow. We would have ordered more food and drinks, but it took so long to receive anything that we gave up. The sushi boat was ok but not as large of portion sizes as other locations. I hope to try this place again sometime and see if it was just an off night.

don’t go here on Christmas eve they were clearly over their head! I called early on to make a reservation for 2 but was told no worries no reservation needed, would be seated right away. arrived at 430, hostess who also just arrived didn’t seem to have a clue as to operations for the evening. prior hostess seemed to be running the show. took forever just to be seated in an empty place. when we did get seated waiter told us right away to decide on dinner otherwise it would be 45 minutes. place was filling up quickly, felt sorry for groups with kids. the spicy rock shrimp tempura was just a big blob of tempura. the gyoza was average. the woo sen Thai chicken was another big blob of food served well before the other meal. no check in by waiter. other parties sat with no contact. I can’t believe this place won best of awards. service and food sucked. Constantly moving tables around to accommodate groups they couldn’t keep up with
