The menu is fun and inventive, and even though the place was pretty full, there was no wait to get in or sit down. We waited about 10 minutes for food, which is totally reasonable considering several people were ahead of us. The space appeared clean and well-kept, even during the rush.
Definitely feels like a locals’ spot—welcoming, laid-back, and authentic. Solid experience all around, and I’d 100% go back.
Today I went for the hot chicken sandwich with fries, and wow—the large fried chicken breast dipped in their honey sriracha sauce was absolutely delicious. Sweet, spicy, crispy perfection on a soft bun. The crinkle-cut fries were hot and crunchy too.
If you’re still hungry (or just can’t resist), they’ve got a bakery case full of fresh pies, those massive Chocolate Monster cookies loaded with goodies, and other homemade treats. The whole place has a cool, laid-back lake vibe with gift shop goodies, t-shirts, and more.
Great food, friendly spot, and worth the detour. Highly recommend!
Wow wonderful atmosphere, fantastic service, and delicious food. Highly recommend this place for anything on the menu and the pie is to die for. 6 out of 5 stars.
Little hidey-hole making fantastic food in a nice laid back atmosphere
We came after 1:30 on a weekday and it was still about 1/3 full, a testament to it’s quality.
It’s also good good gluten free buns!
We ordered—
#1 Jacomo burger as a double with a side of tater tots and an extra lake sauce on the side.
#1 Jacomo burger with a side of onion rings.
Reuben sandwich with a side of crinkle cut fries.
Three combos, with a drink, a slice of Raspberry Coconut Zing cake, a slice of turtle cheesecake, and two extra Lake Sauces cost right at $75.
The burgers are great smash burgers. The Reuben was a little over toasted and a tad dry but it was really good and I’d totally order it again. The lake sauce is kind of ambiguous in its ingredients, seems like a mixture of a few different components, and it’s awesome. Order extra Lake sauce when you check out, because you’ll want it! The raspberry zing cake tastes like someone wanted to make a grown up version of a raspberry zinger. I’m not a huge cake person, but this was really good. The turtle cheesecake was good and a solid choice.
All three of us were happy with what we ordered and the overall experience was great. Definitely stop by for a quick bite!
The food good, had the Tenderloin with mashed potatoes and Gravy with green beans. It was delicious.
The price to value is almost to high. The size was good but at price I can go to a restaurant and have the same for same price.
But it’s kind of a cool decor and if your in the area it’s a great option. The food tasted great and the mashed potatoes were best I have had in years. Give it a try.
