I’ve been coming to Jacky’s Hot Dogs since I was in high school. This place hasn’t lost its touch.
I went with the Polish sausage, juicy, packed with that classic Vienna sausage flavor that just hits right. Nothing fancy, nothing overdone, just solid flavor and that perfect bite when you sink your teeth into it.
Jacky’s is always busy, the environment of the this place still same from what I can remember and they still move fast. From the moment you walk in to when you’re walking out with food in hand, it’s about five minutes. That’s one of the things I’ve always loved, they respect your time but never rush the quality.
I’ve been coming here for years, and honestly, I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Some places you visit for nostalgia, but with Jacky’s, you keep coming back because it’s still just that good.

I’ve been going here since I was a teenager and I’m now 60 years old and I still make the drive back. You can’t go wrong with a Big Baby cheeseburger and a TomTom tamale! Not sure what they do to their French fries but they’re always thin, crispy and salted just right. Always fresh and always hot! Highly recommend!!!

I come to Jacky’s Hot Dog at least once a week, and honestly… it never misses. The cooks and cashiers are always insanely friendly, and somehow they’re always lightning fast with the orders. No matter how busy it is, they keep things moving and still make you feel welcome.
My go-to order is the Big Baby burger, easy on the onions, with mayo and giardiniera peppers—and wow. Absolute guilty pleasure. Every single time it’s hot, juicy, and perfectly put together. Just thinking about my last burger has my mouth watering.
The fries deserve their own shoutout. I love how skinny they are, always crispy, and seasoned perfectly. Not soggy, not bland—just right. I also grab the pizza puff pretty often, with sport peppers on the side, which is chef’s kiss.
This place hits especially hard after getting off work. Something about it just hits different. If you’re looking for consistently great food, fast service, and people who actually care, Jacky’s Hot Dog is it. Forever a regular here.

We just found this place in our search for a highly rated casual food place near us by the Chicago, Midway Airport. We wanted something fast, simple yet delicious of course, and this place sure delivered some delicioso, Chicago, style, Big Vienna Franks! All the fixings, as you can hopefully see from my shots. This is a tiny, little spot, but just a couple miles from the airport, but they had a lot of choices to offer! The french fries were delicioso as well! My husband got their Pizza Puffs and said they were great! He used to eat them at other places in the Chicago suburbs growing up he said so he loved that they had them!
The service was very friendly and helpful to us newbies too.
There are some other things that my husband and I want to try so we will be back when we are needing to be in that area again to go to that airport for sure!

Found this place on a whim coming into city from Ohare…sooo glad! For fast casual dining…great value and hot, fresh food, hard to find both. Plus the staff seems to care about what they put out.
Got the 2 polish combo…one chicago & one maxwell…both were flavorful. Great snap on sausage, toppings on point, peppers had zing, pickles crunchy, tomatoes ripe not mealy, grilled onions were delish. Fries were hot and not greasy…thank you!

Don’t be fooled by smaller building; this place cranks out the food and keeps people rolling through while also maintaining cleanliness. We sat in and everyone we talked to was happy with their grub, lots of burgers going out…will try next time because we will back before leaving town!

Got the two polish special with a drink. Polishes were not bad, but weren’t good either. Mediocre I’d say. Fries were good. Overall not impressed, especially because my expectations were high, as they have good reviews.
