From walking in there was a small line of people ordering so that was not so bad. The line moved swirly to me. I did not like the machine kept asking me to tip. Tipping is optional and at the end of my experience. I was given a number and asked to take a sit.
A few minutes later a lady showed up with my tacos. Didn’t smile, or ask if I needed anything else. The tacos looked amazing with a fefty amount of carne asada.
The hot sauce was in bags which to me lowered the quality of authenticity and freshness. Biting into the taco my initial experience was the flavor was typical but the meat was very rubbery. It almost tasted like they make the tacos out of the cheapest end cuts with the nerves and fat. You know. The stuff most restaurants throw away? Which some serve as suadero butncharce $1 pero taco not $3 and let’s not forget the charge for using a card.
I did not have enough lime nor did I have a fork. The waitress never came back out. When I went up to the counter they did not have time to address me.
In the end, I left much meat since I got tired of using my fingers to pick it up. I did not have more like, the meat was cheap quality and rubbery.
This place has gone downhill in a major way from a few years ago. Horrible and would not recommend it unless you like bad meat quality and bad service!

I just had the barria burrito. It was without a doubt the most amazing meal I’ve had in the tri-state area. Plus the staff is so friendly and friendly and polite. I’m not really a cornbread kinda guy. But the owner convinced me to try it and my mind was blown. So moist, sweet and delicate. If I could give the 6stars I would. Best food in sioux falls

Came for lunch recommended by another. After ordering and paying for our food and pop thats pure carbon, and waiting eternity for food..my spouse food arrives and no food for me. She says she didn’t hear me order.. yet charged for burrito and taquriitto.

Food gets five stars, three stars for speed and service… averaged out, 4 stars.
Food here is excellent. The chicken chipotle burrito is by far my favorite Mexican burrito in town.
My kid always gets the Caldo De Res and I’ve got to say that it’s as authentic as it gets with legit homemade flavor. The portion size on this dish is HUGE!
Service here I always seem to run into hiccups. Last time, my wife ordered online and when I arrived with my order confirmation, they had no record of my order so instead of it being ready, it wasn’t even started.
If you do want to eat there, know this. You must order first at the counter first then go sit down. They’ll take your name and then they’ll come find you when your food is ready… more on that in a bit.
Today, from order to being served was 25 minutes. I’ll let you be the judge on that but for a place with “Express” in its name, I think that misses the mark.
One thing I’m not a fan of is people stopping by the table to auction food off. They definitely need to utilize a table tent number system or something.
So, if you’re not in a huge rush, the food here is amazing. Just be ready to stand in line for a bit to order as they do stay pretty busy and wait again for your food to come out. It is worth the wait, which is why we go back when we have the time but it could definitely be better.
