I’ve ordered from them several times.I don’t know what happened to them but they’ve gone downhill since last year. The food lacks a lot of flavor. It doesn’t taste as authentic like when they first opened. They have to figure out who can’t cook in the kitchen. I’ve had delicious food from them way in the past. It’s just nasty now. I’ve tried to give them a few more chances because I know every restaurant has its days but this is the 3rd time I’ve ordered pollo con tajadas and everytime they’ve given me old refried chicken. I can barely bite into it because it’s reused and dry from them cooking the meat over and over. The meal itself has an off putting smell. It had my whole car smelling weird and people in the car were complaining that it stinks. Pollo con tajadas isn’t supposed to smell like that.

I went to this restaurant for the first time and let me tell you! I got the Platanos Con Crema as an appetizer and the flavor was so delicate and gorgeous. For my main dish I got the mixed Pupusas! I absolutely LOVE them and I can’t wait to come back and get them AGAIN! The restaurant itself is open and clean, our meal came quickly even though we had a pretty decent sized group of 6, and the staff is so welcoming and friendly!!!! The sizes are a bit big for me, but I’m not complaining about having some pupusas later!!!!

The food was so delicious. We loved the baleadas, the homemade tortilla was perfect. I got pollo con tajadas which I like to try when a restaurant says they are Honduran. It met my expectations. I would have liked it plated slightly different but I imagine most people would prefer the cabbage to the side of the plate as they served it. I like my cabbage and tajadas layered evenly on top each other so the sauce and warmth is distributed into both. My husband got the Pescado Frito and he said it was amazing. Perfectly cooked, super juicy. The server was working multiple tables and was kind of stretched thin but she was friendly, and accommodating.

I rarely ever give five stars, this place is genuinely one of the best Latin restaurants I have visited. Glad to have them in picayune, the only other Latin restaurant I adore is all the way in Covington so it is nice to have something much closer to home. Can’t wait to eat here again. Got the Pollo Con Tajadas this time and it was delicious.
