We had an incredible experience at Jackson Prime. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was top-notch, and the kitchen was on point. We started with the Pan Seared Scallops and Neuske’s Bacon, both delicious and the bacon is an absolute melt-in-your-mouth must! We made Jim’s Filet Oscar Style for our main—the steak was cooked perfectly and the crab was a lump of yummy, buttery goodness. We finished with the tiramisu, a sweet indulgence as light as a cloud. We sipped on Dirty Blue Goose Martinis and a bottle of Pinot Noir—extremely fast service from the bar and the drinks did not disappoint. Jackson Prime is without a doubt a new favorite and we can’t wait to go back!

Dinner celebrating son’s birthday with family. We had ribeyes and filets. Prepared rare and medium rare to perfection!! We also had lava cake and cheesecake. The best lava cake ever!! Brandon was our server and I highly recommend this young man. He was helpful and very knowledgeable about wines, steaks and menu items. We were very impressed with Brandon and will ask for him for next time.

The food was delicious! The calamari was amazing! And, their smoked Old Fashioned was one of the best I’ve had! Our server Sam was absolutely wonderful and such a pleasure. My hubby had to speak to the manager to give him props! Can’t wait to eat there again!

Tonight we had the pleasure of experiencing the newest restaurant in historic downtown Jonesborough, Jackson’s Prime.
The ambiance was wonderful, the food was amazing, but the service, by everyone, but especially Sam our waiter, was the icing on the cake. He was attentive, knowledgeable and a pleasure to have a conversation with; simply a pleasure. Our evening was phenomenal. I don’t know when we’ve enjoyed a restaurant more. We will definitely be back and we are already looking forward to it and to sharing it with others.

It was good. They need a way to dim the lights in the dining room. The steaks we got were really good, although mine was slightly overcooked. They have a nice wine list, not to overwhelming, but not the usual wines you see on every wine list in town. The service was good. Had a wonderful time.

My husband and I were enjoying a visit to Jonesborough’s quaint , historic downtown when we noticed Jackson’s Prime steakhouse and decided to try it for dinner. Of course we had no dinner reservations, but were offered seating at the bar, which actually was just as satisfying for us. It still allowed us to experience the beautiful historic ambience but in a slightly more informal setting. The cocktails we ordered were excellent, and the food – we each ordered the halibut – was absolutely superb. What a find!! We immediately made a reservation ( which we highly suggest if you want to dine there), for our next visit before we left. We simply could not give a higher recommendation! Thank you Jackson’s Prime!!

Our first visit to Jackson’s was a big hit with our group. I had the pork chop special and the brussel sprouts. The cesar salad was really good too. We thought the creme brulee was ok, but prefer plain without the jam on the bottom. Get the steak. It was perfectly cooked.

My husband and I came to eat here for my birthday dinner on Aug 28 and wow!! We were greeted with such kindness and respect by Ozzy & Caleb, made us feel so welcomed. We were sat at the round table to the back and we felt like VIP, everyone was so gracious. Mickey was our server, he is top notch!! So accommodating and on his A game! We had the calamari, delicious! I had the sea bass ~ incredible dish yall! My husband had the French onion soup + surf & turf, not 1 complaint! We are so blessed to have this caliber of restaraunt in our area, the owner is just one of a kind jewel and his staff reflects that! Thank you Jackson’s Prime for a lovely dining experience!

The service was a 10! The food needed more. We plan to return after their official grand opening. The filet was good but not cooked to medium as ordered. It was served as medium rare. The pasta was very dry but corrected by management. The cheesecake was very good. I enjoyed the French onion soup but will order it without the dry bread wafers next time. The bar beverages were loaded w pellet ice which made them watery. The sangria had very little wine but tasted good. Will update our review when we return.

This was our second time eating at Jackson Prime and it was amazing all around. All of the food is so well prepared and plated it makes every bite special. We celebrated our anniversary here and it was a special treat in the middle of the week. However, we will come here again, even when it isn’t a special occasion, just because we want it to feel like a special occasion. Our waitress, Sonia, was great and very attentive. Love Jackson Prime and so glad it’s part of Jonesborough!
