This is a good diner to come to for a variety of food. They have something for everyone. Been coming here for years. Sundays it gets packed, with people coming after church. Sundays they also have their cream of chicken soup. Hot turkey open faced sandwich with mash potatoes, hamburgers with french fries, the beef eater, hot fudge sundaes, all great. Located on Whittier Blvd., there’s free parking and you can either wait to be seated at a booth, or eat at the counter..

Great family restaurant with a great selection of delicious food. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner was available all day long. Best of all, we were welcomed with a group of generous staff that made you feel welcome. The food came relatively quick and the atmosphere was enjoyable. The place is large with an enclosed patio sitting. The interior design had a very nostalgic retro 90s theme. The chocolate cake was delicious and the beef enchilada was flavorful. The serving size was large and filling. We were gifted a free additional strawberry cheesecake ice cream, which was sweet and delicious. The staff was attentive and the restaurant created a nice comfortable environment. We recommed this restaurant to other families who want to go to an enjoyable restaurant with a large selection of food choices. We will be back again!

Food is fantastic, best club sandwich’s and breakfast. It’s known as a coffee shop but it’s so much more. The atmosphere is so mellow, it’s very easy to get comfortable, whole new meaning of comfort food or different meaning at least. They are open 6am-Midnight. The prices are very reasonable. The food is definitely worth the prices, very reasonable. Customer service is great. Very friendly, very helpful. The owners have done wonder’s over the year’s. Great piece of Whittier this establishment is. They share the parking lot, so at time’s it’s a little crazy but manageable. It’s recommended to call and place your name ahead, or order ahead if you want as well. They are really friendly, I’m sure you can work something out.

All the California favorites we love. I especially recommend the panini sandwiches as they are nice and warm and better here than anywhere I’ve had one in Cali. I could eat here once a week and still be happy but I’m interested in knowing what other sides they have other than fries, as the server only asked “fries okay?”. Will visit again and update this post if I find out what other sides there are. Cheers!

This place is amazing. The menu is huge with diverse options, prices are reasonable, service is very good, and the classic 50’s diner vibe is really cool. The cheesy panini with chicken, bacon, and avocado was delicious. Definitely will be going back to try their other dishes.

Jack’s is a nice cozy restaurant to come have breakfast. We love coming here when we are craving pancakes. The portions are big and you get a variety of choices. The staff is friendly and are always waking up to see if you need a refill. The prices are not bad. I will need to stop by and have lunch/dinner sometime.

Old school traditional coffee shop with a wide variety of menu choices. Prices have gone up since the pandemic but not as bad as some other places. There is a lot of selection of desserts, but those are priced a little above the norm I think.

Good ole American type of breakfast food. I hear the lunch and dinner are just as good. It was pretty crowded at 8am but our service was good and the meal didn’t take to long (7 of us). The waitress kept our coffee refilled without asking. The Bathrooms were dirty though! At least during my visit the women’s bathroom needed cleaning. All in all it was decent and prices were good.
