I’ve never had a bad experience with Jacks!!! Both locations are delicious!! The Mac n cheese is homemade! Tonight we had the croaker and pork chops, Mac n cheese, candied yams, mustard greens, and hush puppies. They were all very delicious, as usual.

I absolutely love the food. The fried catfish is my favorite but all of the food tastes great. The staff is always very friendly. It’s easy to call in orders and the food is ready for pickup. I highly recommend this restaurant. I’ll probably be picking up dinner again tonight, yum!!!!

OMG this location is amazing and the inside is very spacious with plenty of room. The food is very southern and flavorful, I must admit I was very impressed with the food and the staff. Props to our waitress “Chasidy” very fun and professional, makes everything from start to finish a great time. This was my first time visiting the Falls Of Neuse location & I will definitely be back.

I had the fried whiting plate with corn and butter beans with mac and cheese. I would like to say it was because I ordered last minute. The fish was very dry and chewy. The corn and butter beans were extremely salty and the mac and cheese was tasteless. I have eaten at Jacks before and this was far from what my first experience was. I coukd have got what wAs left over but its was very disappointing.

Jack’s Seafood location on Rock Quarry Rd is the ONLY location that I drive to, I bypass the location on New Bern Ave for many reasons, one reason being whomever is in the back cooking DOESN’T season their food good enough, the side dishes are BLAND with no taste. I highly recommend the Rock Quarry Rd location.

This was my first time eating at Jacks. It was recommended to me by my sister. We arrived and it was pretty busy. I love that they require mask and the employees were adhering to the mandate. The ladies upfront were very professional and courteous. I ordered the flounder/shrimp combo and the smothered pork chop. Everything was seasoned very well. My only problems was the flounder looked like trout. My boyfriend didn’t really care, but I would have like to get what we paid for. And while the pork chop tasted great, the quality of the meat could be better. I thought I had gotten two really big chops, but while eating it, they were really big bones, fat and gristle, very little meat. I would rather get one great meaty pork chop than what they served. Hopefully it was just a coincidence. Other than that, it was a good experience. I will return to try other things on the menu.
