My husband and I received gift certificates and we was trying them for the first time. We were going to dine in, but it was late and so we decided to order takeout order salmon with fried brussels sprouts and sweet potato. My brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes were burnt to the point. They were an edible my husband ordered hamburger steak with gravy and oh onions and his steak was over cooked and dry with no gravy, he ordered asparagus but they were out of asparagus and so they substituted it out for broccoli. He also got the red skin potatoes. My husband called the restaurant bad and told them what was wrong with our dinner. The person who answered the phone asked him to bring the plate back and he did with the manager saw the plate he Ordered them to re-cook the brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes. By the time they had re-cook my size, my salmon had gotten cold. I will experience was not a good one. First impressions are everything but I do recognize that the manager try to fix the problem which caused another problem. Last time it was cold. I didn’t rate atmosphere because we ordered takeout.

We recently dined here celebrating an anniversary. We were delighted by the prompt attention by our server. Food was delicious. We had the prime rib special. It was cooked to perfection. This place will definitely be our favorite go to restaurant. Well done to the service staff.

The cranberry butter was lovely. The Cajun shrimp were good. The salmon was good. The ribeye was very good. I like my green beans just a little more cooked but not much more. I liked the creamed spinach and the mashed potatoes. The cocktails were a bit weak but tasted good. Order an extra shot or a double shot of whatever spirit is already in the drink you order if you like a kick. I didn’t like the lemon cake or the carrot cake, but my boyfriend liked the carrot cake a lot. The caramel sauce was too overpowering for my tastes.

Had family visiting from Hawaii and California, took them to Jack’s for brunch. Overall it was good service and meal. Waitress was very friendly. J’s bloody Mary was incredible! The eggs Benedict was delicious I just wish there was a bit more hollandaise sauce on my plate. Overall everyone enjoyed their food. My uncles sunny side up eggs look to be a little crispy on the edges. He was OK with it but I think the grill was a bit too hot. I also noticed the omelette my wife ordered seem to be a little brown she was OK with it but if I ordered it I would’ve had to send it back. Overall good experience and I would recommend Jack’s to friends & family and I will definitely be back.

Nora was our server and she was AMAZING!!! She was attentive and took care of all of our needs. The food was good and came out at a fairly decent time. The only quarrel I had was I ordered a beer that I have had on multiple occasions but when I took a sip, it tasted very different. I even had my husband try it and he noticed the taste was weird. I asked if I could get something else and Nora (at no fault to her) said that her manager was very strict on drinks and would not take it off the bill but she said she would try. In the meantime, she took the old beer back and grabbed me a different beer, which was good. When she came back, she told me that she spoke to him and he would not take it off the bill. She was very apologetic, which I knew was not her fault. As someone that has worked in the hospitality industry, I thought it was very odd not to take off a $6 beer for a customer. Interesting enough, my husband found a hair in his entree, again Nora was very apologetic. While he waited for a new plate, she brought an appetizer out, which was really good too. So if a customer has an issue with a $35 entree, they get a new entree and a free appetizer but you will not take a $6 beer off their tab, just does not make much sense. All in all, it was a good time and I can not say it enough, Nora was AWESOME!! Would go back just to see her 🙂

I found Jack’s while travelling on business to Wilson and loved it so much I had dinner there 3 out of 4 nights. The food is amazing and the servers are friendly and efficient. I had 2 seafood dishes and a steak with fresh sautéed veggies…and zero complaints. Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable. They have a well stocked bar and ample wine list. You can bet I will be back when visiting Wilson.

Very intimate dining area good for small groups only. Food is decent but underwhelming for the price. Service is typically very slow but staff is normally friendly. Still probably one of the best places to eat in Wilson.

This skillet Mac & Cheese was just one of the great things there. We kept passing this around the table eatting from it. Oh and the sweet and spicey shrimp… fat boy approved!

Went here for a dinner before my friend moved states and the experience wasn’t the best. The menu is very small with outrageous numbers per item. My wife loves French onion soup and it was $9 for a bowl of soup.. The cheapest meal on the menu was $20. Yes, it did included two sides but the sides were really small as well. The restroom floor was very sticky and the soap dispenser was empty…. Cooks with dirty hands? And the server took a very long time to ask us if we needed or wanted refills. He also took a long time to cash our checks. We got up to look for him and he was standing, talking to some of his coworkers. Will not be returning here…
