I visited Jake’s Place for breakfast in Old Town Alexandria this past Sunday, and I have to say, every meal was absolutely delicious! From the moment I walked in, the cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home. But I need to wait for a table. Totally worth it! A very old quaint and local eatery. If you are looking for a small mom and pop type local “diner” restaurant to grab breakfast or a sandwich this is a great choice. Owned by a husband and wife couple, the place seats about 11 people in total. The place has been there 40+years and the young couple that own it now are great! We ordered the House omelettes and had to try one of their buttermilk pancakes. I would definitely go back!

This is a tiny, and I mean TINY place that you will easily miss if not looking specifically for it. The staff were great, and my panini and hash brown were delicious.
