We came in for a takeout pizza and were completely blown away by the amazing service and atmosphere. The place features very cool decor, free billiards, board games, and fun historic pictures of the area. I shot some pool while waiting for our pizza. The gentlemen who waited on us was incredibly attentive and generous with his time and attention — truly above and beyond. When we got back to our lodging, we discovered he had included all the condiments we might need, and even paper plates. So thoughtful!
The pizza itself was great too. It was a different style of crust than we’ve had before, almost like the dough in one of those large pretzels, sort of a shiny brown on the outside. Different than we expected but a delicious new experience and definitely worth another visit. You could have a really enjoyable long lunch here. Hope to return soon.

Awesome pizza spot! Came here on a recommendation from a friend. Never would have found it otherwise. The pizza was fantastic. Gooey cheese, just the right amount of sauce, great toppings. Even the crust by itself was really good. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and good drinks, too! We’ll definitely come back here next time.

This mom and son team, Sammy and Gus, went completely out of their way to make us feel like we were welcome, even though we were bothering them on their last hour hour of their shift. Thank you for the great pizza great conversation and good beer! This Alaskan couple will be back next year to hang with you guys again.

Great pizza, great flatbreads and great beer on tap. The two working here provided great service and I would definitely recommend stopping here. Since they close at 5pm, you can get the pizza to go as a “take and bake” (cook it at home) for after a long day of hiking.

After a day of skiing, the margarita tasted especially sweet. The personal salad was huge, and so wholesome and fulfilling. Wish we had taken a photo but we started eating too fast . Pizza was good too. The restaurant staff were so sweet we wish we had more cash to put in the tip jar.

This place is fantastic – Gus and his mother took over running it a few months ago and the quality of the food & customer service is excellent. Pizza and flatbreads are very nice, and Gus can make a proper drink. No notes, really great spot to have while staying at Freestone!
