This little shack on the beach is a very pleasant surprise!! The people are friendly, the menu extensive, reasonable prices, great portion and quick service!! What more could one ask! You can sit by the lake and eat picnic style! We ordered the fried veggie sampler and chicken tender and fries combo. It was freshly made to order and delish!!

A pleasant environment, and large portions. The staff was nice, and friendly. However, we ordered a BLT and the bacon was raw. When we presented the issue we were given the runaround about precooked, packaged food. Literally, the first time I’ve complained about anything in years.

After finding out awful news that I’m losing my job due to the store closing, I just wanted a nice meal and beautiful scenery. I checked online to see that they were open so i drove so far there so see the open flashing sign ON but shutters CLOSED. Wife waited In line for an hour 1/2 for a steak salad that the meat was totally raw a order of fries and a plain hot dog for my Rotti. The food was down right nasty for that long a wait it should of been top quality. P.S. by the way my dog wouldn’t eat the steak either.

Jack’s Grubb Shack at Canoe Creek SP is not “your average concession stand”! They serve delicious wings, burgers, fries, wraps & salads! (My wife & I don’t even pack a picnic basket anymore when we go to Canoe Creek SP; we go straight to Jack’s Grubb Shack!)
The food is made- to- order, so you will have to wait for it to be prepared. Take your drinks, find a nearby picnic table and enjoy the beautiful views while your tasty treats are being prepared for you!
