We had a craving for lobster rolls and were happy to find this place on the map. First off, the staff here is incredible. They were the nicest people. The interior space was cool. It felt like being by the shore. The food was tasty. It satisfied that craving. I will be back.

This was a shot in the dark. I always saw Jack’s lobster shack from across the street and I noticed it was always packed! I went and tried it and omg it was fantastic!! The food was so good, incredibly fresh, they literally pick lobsters out from their lobster homes in the restaurant. We waited awhile for our food and the waiter, Brian, brought out complimentary chips while we wait! Brian was so attentive and polite. I’ve been here about 3x in the last few weeks I enjoyed it so much. The prices aren’t bad either especially for someone who loves seafood and has been to quite a few seafood restaurants. Thank you Jack’s Lobster Shack for providing great food, great service at a great price!! I’ve recommended this place to my family and friends who have said the same. Next time I’ll need to get their famous lobster grilled cheese!!

Lobster Bomb is by far the most intriguing dish. Highly recommended. I love the signature lobster rolls and lobster tacos as well.
The restaurant has outstanding interior. Feels very lively with all the modern arts and decos around the store. The service is great. Plenty of parking at the backside of the restaurant.

Okay soooo.. We wanted a lobster roll I’m from NY and Googled lobster roll this place showed up.. Now here’s the crazy part, This place has the BEST LOBSTER roll I have ever had, fries insane the LOBSTER mac there was like 2 claws of LOBSTER Inside. I met the owner super nice man, and the gentleman that was running the shop super nice also. Honestly, this is a hidden gem, and I kinda wanna keep it to myself. We love this place! It’s our fourth time here, and each time we had a different dinner. Great and varied salads, veggie options, and of course the claim to fame – lobster, oyster, salmon, shrimp, scallops, crab and whatnot. The kids enjoy chicken fingers and fries, fried calamari, or just pasta… and the vibe is fun, too. Always great service. We also ordered in once and it was wonderful. Highly recommended.

I’m a big fan of going up to Maine during the summer and eating as many lobster rolls as I possibly can during my time there. Now that might not be the healthiest option, but whatever, I’m on vacation. Anyway, Jack’s brings that Maine vacation energy to NJ. The lobster rolls are fantastic here. They taste fresh, not overly seasoned, and definitely emulates the feeling of a Maine summer. Love ordering from Jacks!

Should have paid attention to the reviews. Jack should be ashamed to serve the dried crumbling shrimp and frankly I just threw the fish in the garbage , what a complete waste of money. When the cook came out of the kitchen with an attitude and aggravated I think that was a clue. I was really looking forward to this visit, the place was empty – its always empty. I ordered the shrimp and fish, the best part was the French fries. A complete waste of money nothing like the Edgewater location. Will not return.
