I have a house here in Greenville but live in Las Vegas. I’ve been looking for a go-to place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Before Jack’s I had no luck. I really enjoy Jack’s atmosphere with the fireplace and the comfortable seating. Everything I’ve eaten there has been good. The biscuits are made fresh all day long and are some of the best I’ve tasted. Their breakfast is an amazing deal at around $5 for a full platter. Some of the best grits and gravy I’ve found anywhere. They also have a delicious sweet tea. Like a lot of the businesses in Greenville the service seems a little lackadaisical.

I really enjoy eating at Jack’s and my kids are addicted. The food is always hot and fresh, and the burgers are straight fire . While the customer service can be hit or miss at times, the taste of the food definitely makes up for it. The prices are great, and the new Southern Rib Sandwich is better than the McRib—hands down. I also love how Jack’s is always coming out with new menu items. That’s what keeps me coming back!

I have been trying to make this restaurant my breakfast place for months. Consistently the service is as slow as anywhere in town and often, even after waiting for them to cook fresh biscuits, I have received brick hard biscuits. I would love to see this place thrive because when they are on point it’s some of the best breakfast in town, unfortunately that’s just not the typical experience. Maybe with the right management, they can turn it around but I’m going to take a month or two off and see if things improve.

I felt it in my soul, n I told them when they came n dined in at my restaurant, but we see what’s happening at this restaurant in Greenville Ms people who don’t care. The food is awful the chicken from my experience is never fresh or taste fresh n there’s always a wait on chicken because they never have it on hand. Like what happened to fast food they can’t keep a manager to run the place properly so it’s a no go for me. Once the people who was there to open the restaurant left that business went down hill after that. I have received dry so many times I just stopped going

Country rib sandwich makes you want to forget that you ever tried a McRib. Fried pies are awesome but forget ordering online and picking up. Faster going through the drive through, but like they say, “This is Greenville baby”. Order process online was not the problem, the problem was with the pickup. Only one person was working a register and the person that they were helping had 4 seperate orders that they were taking and processing separately. Then when they were finally able to get to me, my order went to the end of the line. I don’t mind waiting but having to stand on my peg leg is painful so I will only use the drive thru from now on. At least three drive thru orders were filled before they even ask me for my order making online ordering a moot point. It was not the online part that was lacking, it was the service AT the store which was the problem, sorry I wasn’t specific enough with the review to begin with.

Greenville was super excited to get this fast food restaurant in our location and it stayed busy for a few months. I can see why it slowed down so much. The food tastes old and is not as flavorful, everyone talks about how cheap jacks is as if the food isn’t matching the price. The customer service at this location and at least the location in Cleveland,MS is horribleeee I mean theyre short staffed and had 3 people in front of me and also myself pull to the front to wait 10 minutes on food. This isnt the first time this has happened either. Jack’s wouldve stayed better off in another town.

Edited after repeated bad service and a downgrade in food quality. The food used to be good. Now you can count on hard, dry biscuits- only IF they will still serve them. The service, much like everywhere else in Greenville, leaves a whole lot to be desired.

This store almost never has their drive thru window open; forcing patrons to come inside to order. You can also count on an attitude from their counter staff when you do go inside. Don’t expect polite conversation from them and don’t dare ask them how their day is going. You’ll only be met with eye rolls and grunts under their breath.

And biscuits? If you want them, order them early. They don’t make enough to carry them through breakfast hours.

Update: customer service seemed to have improved for a few weeks but things have fallen by the wayside again. You get parked for over 10 minutes for a breakfast biscuit and if you get one that’s not hard as a hockey puck, consider yourself lucky.

I come to Jacks at least once or twice a week. Y’all need to try their biscuits and gravy! It’s out of this world! The crew is very attentive and friendly. The chicken is delicious, and they have an excellent big BLT sandwich! Give them a try! You won’t regret it!

I’ve never made a review before because I believe accidents happen, but this kind of got me. Ordered a 3-piece chicken strip with a biscuit and mashed potatoes. These are the strips (I put a quarter there for reference.) If someone randomly showed me them and said “Here are 3 deep-fried string beans.” I wouldn’t bat an eye. To give me not one, not two, but 3 entire strips that are about less than the size of my finger. Maaaan. Is there at least a required serving size y’all have?? Besides that, everything else was great, especially the mashed potatoes, couldn’t recommend them enough. Maybe one day when I decide to order something again, it isn’t as disappointing and is worth the price. Have a great day.

Absolutely great service and food was fresh and in my hands within minutes of ordering. I think the staff at this location is way better than the other ones. I’m from Chicago and this is a new experience for me, so thanks for making it a great one.
