After many Facebook posts saying this location sucks, I still tried it for breakfast because it’s so cheap. Now I see why it’s so cheap. I told the lady taking my order “I’ve never been here for breakfast so give me a moment. I’ll take the biscuits and gravy.” “That’ll be $3.04” ok so we’re not going to ask about sides or drinks? So I assumed the biscuits just came by themselves. I get to the window and ask “So I wasn’t sure if that came as a meal or not.” Her response: “did you order a meal?” Me: “Well I don’t know. Does it come as a meal?” Her: “Did you say you wanted a drink?” I should have just pulled off at this point. I’m not playing 21 questions before 8am. Then I receive the biscuits and gravy and it looks like this. I guess I’ll drink the gravy as my side and drink

My breakfast was AWESOME!! You cain’t go wrong with the chicken biscuit or steak biscuit, though I’d have to say I’m liking the steak just a tiny bit more! I ordered a “side” of smoked sausage but they mistakenly packed me a smoked sausage link biscuit by mistake. It was RRALLY good also though so no harm / no foul as far as I’m concerned. I really like their hash browns and Iced Vanilla Coffee as well. Y’all give ‘em a shot!!!

I love Jacks… in north Alabama (Ardmore) and east Alabama (Opelika/Phenix City), so I was excited about stopping at this (Loxley, Al) one for breakfast and dinner. I got a steak biscuit and chicken biscuit for breakfast… WORST EVER! The biscuits were paper thin, and half of my chicken biscuit had no biscuit on top. Looked forward to dinner because they have awesome chicken, right? WRONG! Ordered 2 chicken dinners with breasts (paid extra) and these were the toughest chicken breasts I’ve ever eaten. They pulled them out of the warmer when I ordered, but I’m pretty sure they’d been there since morning. Nothing helped them. NOTHING! Paid extra for macaroni and cheese, and it was ok, but not worth a $1.50 upcharge. The employees were nice, but SLOOWWWWWWW! The woman for breakfast couldn’t multi-task, and was taking and fixing one order from start to finish, before she’d take another. Took me 20 minutes to get 2 breakfast biscuits, and there were only 2 customers in front of me. The young man for dinner was just as slow, HOWEVER, he was running the place while others stood around and looked confused. Took me 30 minutes to get 2 chicken dinners. Apparently, their attention goes to drive-thru customers, and that explains why the line is always wrapped around the building… people know not to go inside. Apparently, the same person who made breakfast biscuits, made them for dinner too, because he even mentioned how bad and thin they looked. Green beans were good but half empty. The mashed potatoes and gravy were the only thing worth a positive review. I recommended Jack’s to all of my staff based on my previous experiences, and now they’re going to think I’m insane if they went. I can go ahead and delete this app off of my phone, because Jacks in Loxley, AL is awful. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED

Ok so this was our first trip to jacks and quite frankly prob our last. I don’t really have any pros. The cons-order was wrong from the get go. They forgot 2 of our 4 large drinks and 2 of our large fries if that’s what you call a large in the pictures below. Burgers were made as we ordered them however: when I ordered it fully loaded I did not realize it would come with a half of tomato slice (covers half the burger) 6 slices of onion 6 slices of pickles and enough mayo it was swimming in it and the 3 pieces of lettuce I got were less than mediocre. My coleslaw was also swimming in liquid. Quite frankly no care was put into this order at all. If you don’t want to do a satisfactory job or work in food service then get a new job. It’s pretty simple. You can work food service and still take pride in your work. We paid way too much money for 4 people to eat for our food to just be slapped together. I just got out of the hospital so wasn’t up to a sit down dinner out but If I had been we could have went to chilis and all ordered for the same price and got much better quality food. Y’all just need to do better. Missing drinks/fries on almost every order is beyond ridiculous. Yes I read the reviews and was like, it really can’t be that bad on service: but I was wrong. There’s also a picture of all the extra mayo I scrapped off so I could eat without needing a bib. SMH.

After biting into my first fry after posting my review the fries are hard/raw in the center and cold as all get out. Just do yourself a favor and steer clear of here.

Price is right, staff is super friendly, food was delicious! Only complaint was the white meat was dry, but that’s the same pretty much anywhere.

The food looked and smelled great, but the line was just too long so I walked out. I will definitely come back another time when I can get my meal in under 30 minutes. No fault to them, it is just a new restaurant open and it has the typical new restaurant line. The menu was very reasonably priced. It looks like somewhere I would enjoy eating.

Just had my second visit to Jack’s and the food tasted different on the second trip. I really enjoyed the chicken tenders and the comeback sauce the first visit which was last week. The chicken tenders were especially saltier today. I remember last week making the comment that the tenders reminded me of Foosackly’s and I really love that place. I also remember saying they weren’t like Zaxby’s because Zaxby’s to me is really salty. Today they were salty. I don’t think the employees are following the recipe properly. Overall I really like the atmosphere and while the staff seemed pretty loud and abrupt they were pretty helpful. Both times when we went there was no ketchup in the bin out there where it is available for the customer to grab themselves. I really don’t like having to ask for condiments every time I want them. My little cup of comeback sauce was only partially filled so I had to go back and ask for another one. Another thing I noticed is my teen got a dinner and the portion of french fries was very small. If you’re paying more for an extra side and it doesn’t come with a drink I think the sides need to be plentiful. The tenders were not overcooked they were really juicy but they had a different taste than my first visit.

I think I just caught them at a bad time but that worries me for their future because it will only get busier as summer approaches. So prepare for a long wait time. I personally wish their shakes were more sweet but everything else was fine.

General manager. Was extremely rude. My JACKS ONLINE ORDER was ready for pickup at 4:27. I arrived at 4:37. My food was not in the designated “ONLINE PICKUP” pick up area. so I stood in line. And waited about 5 minutes, a sweet employee making shakes asked my name and told the manager. The manager sat my order on the counter and turned around continued to work…but never informed me it was mine, I didn’t want to touch someone else’s food. But after standing for another minute my husband grabbed it turned it around to see the name, it was indeed my order. After receiving my food, I checked it at the counter and it was extremely cold. I asked if I could have it remade. The general manager turned her back to me and said “she ordered it through door dash what do she expect?” I was very polite and told her nevermind, I’d just leave a review. She replied “Okay’ I asked her name and she told me to “find it on the receipt”. This type of customer service is not appealing for the image of Jacks. The food here has always been top tier. Unfortunately seems the customer service and food quality is declining. The chicken fingers are getting smaller

My tenders were hard, overcooked and very tiny, one was hard it was inedible. Will attach photos.

DO NOT RECOMMEND ORDERING ONLINE!! MY ORDER WAS INCORRECT 3X TODAY! 9/18/24
