You will get served raw bacon, my order was messed up, asked for cheese and bacon only and all bacon was raw, one burger had no cheese on it. Ordered a 3 piece tender meal, got 3 piece of fried chicken. I love fried chicken so i was too bothered by it until i ate it and it literally taste like it’s been sitting since they opened this morning. Jacks needs to do better!

My friend and I stopped here after doing some shopping. It was after lunch time. I ordered the Big Jack combo and it was good. The hamburgers never seem to be very hot. The server who took my order was friendly and kind enough to bring ketchup to the table and ask if she could get anything else for us. That made my day. I ordered two biscuits to go. The logo states that the biscuits are made fresh all day long, but mine weren’t. Disappointing, I’d say.

This Jack’s location (by Lowe’s in Northport) has improved a lot over the past 3 years. Service used to be slow, employees were not engaging or seemed like they wanted to be there, and getting your order correctly prepared was a toss up. Now, the people are more polite, the service is what you’d expect from a fast food restaurant, and the food is prepared correctly and tastes good. I would rate their burgers as the best fast food burgers in Northport.

Good Day Readers. I’ve read about 15 previous reviews just to get an understanding of what others thought. Those reviews do not sway my input.
Today, I was determined to grab pancakes from Jack’s prior to going to church. There is nothing worse than being in church hungry .
When I walked in, I witnessed an employee conversing with two patrons. Normally I would not place race descriptors, but during the times we are in…I feel it necessary. She was a blonde, white employee speaking with a black couple. I could not hear much of the conversation. What I did hear made me smile. She was thanking them. She was telling them that the staff appreciates their patronage. This made me smile.
A timid young lady took my order: pancakes, sausage, grits and eggs. I love the pancakes, and you get 2 pieces of sausage! My order was ready before I sat down.
There were a group of old men sitting at one of the large tables. One of the men commented on my left-hand dominance. We joked around for a bit.
Here’s the winner for me, there’s a female in the back pushing out commands, as well as food. I loved her leadership. She recognized a gap between the front of the house and the back of the house. She stopped what she was doing to make a much needed on-the-spot correction. I was…am impressed! She continued this type of communication throughout the time I was here. No random conversations about non-work related matters; just getting the job done! Kudos.
A large family walked in and one of the staff greeted them with a boisterous “Roll Tide!” You could tell that the senior members of the family were regulars because of the way they spoke. The older female then pulled off to the side and had a conversation with one of the employees. They were asking one another about the health of their families.
I would like to note that all but one of the employees are black. All of the customers were white (minus the first couple). Regardless of what is depicted in the media… this is what common folks see. I just wanted to spread the truth. Jack’s represents community.
Don’t let someone else’s depiction ruin your joy. Take in consideration of the overall situation. Someone mentioned that there was a dog chained to the back door. Maybe there was a person who didn’t have a home working there.

We went in there to eat in their service was horrible I wouldn’t recommend this place to no one. The people was very unfriendly and the service was crappy when we got our food it was cold just didn’t like it I drive all the way across town if I wanted Jack’s again.

Shut this place down! It’s not up to the company’s standard. First off why do you all have a dog at the back door? Literally chained to the door! The drive thru smells like poop. (Clear as day in the video) The picture is from August 6th. Almost a two months later from the video I took myself while in drive thru. (June 8th)
Secondly,the food I received was so burnt from the grease you could taste it. My fries were very brown & so was my tenders. I simply got a refund! No one was apologetic because they knew the grease was old. Unfortunately I will not return here again. I can only imagine the unsanitary conditions behind the counter where the food is being prepared.

Came through the drive-through for 2 milkshakes. Couldn’t even get the sentence out before the cashier interrupted to say they were out of chocolate. Ordered a different flavor. She rang us up and told us to pull up and wait. 13 minutes later, we’re still sitting here. My husband went in to check on it, and he was told, “the ice cream is hard.”
We just got a refund. Honestly, I’m pretty glad now that I’ve come on here and seen the pictures and video of the dog.

We have went through the drive through twice this week to get a milkshake. Each time we were told “sorry we aren’t serving ice cream tonight”. Not that their machine was broken or that they were out. The first time was understandable, but to be told the same exact thing two days later makes it seem like the employees just didn’t want to do it.
