Two different experiences first time was lunch, fish sandwich, fried mushrooms, onion rings, fries, and buffalo chicken sandwich. (Not all for me) Not a long wait, enjoyed everything we’re impressed with the fish and the chicken.
Second time, burgers and chicken. Sandwiches all sorts of sides. We were not warned about the wait. The next customer In line was… 20+ plus minutes we would have left if we knew. We waited every second of that, long enough for two of my girls to need to use the restroom…. There was sewage leak or something. The bathrooms were so dirty I contemplated taking my five year old outside.
This go round it was obviously a frozen burger, frozen pre-marinated grilled chicken breast. And they were really short handed.
So why four stars?
A) The first time was great, just don’t use the bathroom and order fried food. And you will love it.
B) The bathrooms are in the gas station next door. It is being worked on, so who knows who’s fault that is. But man, it was bad.
C) They are just getting started hopefully frozen burger and frozen chicken breasts aren’t the full vision. I feel like they are working toward more.
D) It’s a local start up, I like to see hard working people succeed and I hope they do.
Not going back for a while but if it’s still up and running in six months I’ll be drawn back like a month to flame. They were friendly and working hard, so you go try it, and let me know.

Just finally made it here for the first and unfortunately last time. I have just heard that Jack’s eatery is closing. This is certainly a bummer because the experience was good and the food was great! Pictured is unfortunately what you will miss now that it is closed.

We had such a good burger tonight! I love that the burgers are thin and got a good crust. The buns are quality and don’t fall apart when you’re eating it. The hand cut fries were so flavorful. And the corn pudding was insane. The restaurant was clean, service was fast, my food was so hot steam came off of it. Definitely support this local business!

I Ate here sat. Food was decent. Fries seasoned well. Burger was okay as well.. Tables were pretty dirty but I only saw one person working the front and guessing maybe short staffed so understandable. I think a common misconception however is that I like others maybe thought this was a little more fine dinning but it gives off a basic fast food vibe. Get your food. Get your own drinks and bounce. No more staff interactions etc … I’d never been before and menu was kinda hard to read and more lighting would help. Was very dark around the menu. Didn’t see the potato skins on the menu so wasn’t sure if they were available. But I’ll be back to try other items. I also agree with another comment about promoting more suggestive selling. Honestly after we all ate if someone had approached and recommended a dessert we probably would have tried one.

Amazing little hidden gem . Was greeted with amazing service as soon as we walked in The ladies were wonderful and the owner was very helpful and being creative with my order. Came in with a group of people chicken wings were absolutely cooked to perfection and seasoned wonderfully The burgers four of us had were outstanding and I had the owner which is also the cook get creative with mine and absolutely my favorite go-to for a burger now onion rings were amazing The steak sandwich was absolutely tender and juicy The shrimp was crispy the fries tasted like they were freshly cut potato skins seem to be an amazing hit for an appetizer so every time we go now we get potato skins and let’s not even get started on their sweet tea taste like my grandmother made it and it’s just an amazing kick in the mouth down memory lane on my taste buds. Every time I drive past we have to stop now highly recommend.

I stopped by with my hubby today for lunch, and it did not disappoint. They offer a wide array of options from burgers to salads. Side options are plentiful, and they have a great kids menu for the little ones. After indulging in the tasty food ( potato skins and corn pudding were my favs!), you have to have a desert, and again Jack’s has OPTIONS!!! OVERALL, good time, it was lunch so service was a little slow but the delicious food was worth that few extra minutes !!!

I ordered for pick up, a Jacks single burger with cheese and green beans. It was ready when I got there. Hot fresh and delicious. The green beans are good if you like them that way which I just never have. They’re like how my grandma made them with sweet onions. I prefer salt or ham stock but that’s just me. Like I said 5stars the burger is really scrumptious and priced reasonable. The girl who took my order and served me was very nice, good customer service skills.

Wanted a yummy burger yesterday so we stopped at Jacks for the first time. I love to try local joints and Jack’s did not disappoint!! The burger was excellent and the fries we ordered well done (we like ‘em crispy) and they were perfect!! It took about 15 minutes because they cook to order. Food was hot and fresh!! We will definitely be back. Don’t let the fact that they are next to the gas station deter you! Thanks Jack! It was awesome!!! Marty & Jayne Davidson
