April 13, 2025 update: they are open!! Limited menu, but real good for what it is! Will you get lettuce and tomato? No. Will you get the experience of a bunch of sliders made in the jack’s drive in style? Yes. People go here after baseball games. You stand in line and order, then pay, then they give you your food on a tray to eat at a picnic table. Or you get it in a super greasy paper bag, old school. It’s not open in winter, but is open in March! Good stuff!

A little off the beaten path, this place is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Surrounded by nature, it offers a bit of quiet as you sit at picnic style tables to indulge your hunger for burgers, fries, hotdogs and shakes!
I’d only been here one time before and recall the burgers being almost slider size. To my surprise they’ve either gotten larger OR my eyes finally adjusted to reality. Regardless, they are pretty amazing! The cheeseburgers are loaded with sautéd onions, which I enjoyed very much (until I put my mask on), and are very flavorful. I also ordered the loaded fries, which were loaded with a chili that was very delicious!
I recommend stopping for a bit at Jacks after a long day of doing chores, because it’s going to feel amazing to treat yourself to such an amazing meal!
(And also if you can, have a milkshake- they’re super creamy and thick)
