Don’t you dare get off the 33 expressway, and pass the intersection of Oak and Genesee St. Without stopping and checking out Jacks corner Cafe. I understand their website says they are a cozy coffee shop. But I am here to tell you, there’s so much more to them than that. Jack’s offers breakfast and lunch options, that are truly amazing and everything is a must try. Ooh and I can’t forget to mention, the cold press juices. The Cafe has a decent amount of inside tables to dine at. But depending on the time and day, it can easily get pretty crowded. So depending on the weather, you may feel better eating on their outside patio.

The best French toast I’ve had in years! My friend is vegetarian and loved the breakfast burrito as well. The food didn’t take that long and the cashier was very helpful with picking what to eat or drink. It’s a trendy, cozy spot and had casual, relaxing atmosphere!

This place was absolutely amazing and family and child friendly! It is a very beautiful spot in downtown Buffalo, easy walking distance, and welcoming. There is a small place for children to color and play with toys, which was helpful with my almost 2 year old. The coffee was divine, I ordered the brûlée latte and it was delicious and we eat the sandwich breakfast without meat! The owner is super friendly and so is the staff. We had a great experience last week!

Fabulous cafe with fantastic food and coffee. I had a quiche and the Brulee’cinno, which was awesome. Check out pictures of everyone in our party’s meals. Every plate was emptied. I’ve seen reviews mentioning a limited menu, which is true; however I prefer a restaurant that has a smaller menu and cooks everything fresh to order over a menu of a 100 items that are frozen and poorly prepared. Easy to get to and paid street parking available. Highly recommend this gem of a cafe.

Good breakfast environment. Simple small menu with good breakfast choices. Not too much on the sweet side, but that’s okay. One of the best breakfast burritos I’ve had. Cheddar grits weren’t amazing, but they were above standard you get in a lot of places and I live in the south. Pro tip: get the burrito’s cilantro cream on the side so you can add a dab to your grits. Brûlée’d cappuccino was fun and good. Nothing beats Seattle, but it was still good. It’s not in any of the “top 10” lists for breakfast spots that I looked up, but most of the reviews here are 5 stars and for good reason. Jack’s is definitely worth a stop, especially if you’re in the area.
