This was our first visit after seeing mixed reviews. When we arrived we were seated immediately. Our server came shortly after. She was awesome if you visit ask for Brooke. I would love to give this place another star but I can’t. It has so much potential. The taste of the food is great. I ordered the Pimento cheese appetizer they came out lukewarm first warning. I just thought they cooled quickly because we were enjoying a conversation. I ordered theRibeye bone in steak cooked medium w/baked potato and steamed veggies. My husband ordered the Wagyu steak medium w/loaded bake potato and onion rings. Both our steaks were overcooked, potatoes, veggies and onion rings were cold. The taste was awesome! The server did what she could to make it right. She even had the manager come out. She offered a discount. I offered advice. Hopefully she takes it into consideration. She did give us a discount. This place can really be awesome and we will possibly try again.

The service was very good, as was the steak, and that’s coming from someone who generally isn’t a fan of steak. We arrived at 6pm on a Monday night and there was no wait for a table. Food and drinks were all top shelf. My wife and I each had the NY strip and we shared a huge piece of chocolate cake for dessert. Our total with tip was about $100.

Our server was Addi and she was AMAZING! She was so kind, polite, and cheerful. It was so refreshing to have such good service. We would come back just for the service alone. But there’s no need for that because the food was amazing as well.

Very underwhelming experience. We ordered the petite ribeye, and neither steak was cooked to the temperature we requested. For appetizers, we tried the scallop gratin, which lacked flavor and seasoning, and the pimento cheese fritters, which were also quite bland. I’m honestly not sure why this place has so many positive reviews. The food did not feel worth the price. I would have rated it 1 star, but the staff was very friendly. Other than that, I’d recommend choosing a different steakhouse if you’re looking for quality food.

All in all it was worth a try. The food was good but not sure how I feel about the overall experience. We came here for 6 year anniversary dinner. We made a reservation for two at 6:30pm. When we got there they sat us at a table in the bar area not the dinner room. Not a romantic dinner when everyone is waiting for their tables at the bar speaking loudly and have to wait for the bartender to wait our table. I was also thrown off by their drink menus. Most places don’t put pricing on the drinks which I understand however if you make a change you should print out a new menu. Having the prices blacked out seems sketchy to me and kinda tacky for an upscale place like this.

We visited this restaurant for the first time to celebrate our daughter’s graduation—a special occasion she was excited about and had personally made the reservation for. When we arrived, the atmosphere seemed vibrant and busy. We sat at the bar for cocktails while waiting for our table and were served by a bartender who was attentive and pleasant, though clearly overwhelmed and in need of support.
Once we were finally seated, our server Taylor was polite but seemed just as overwhelmed. What followed was a nearly two-hour wait for our food. Despite repeated check-ins, Taylor could only tell us the kitchen was “working on it,” with no updates or accountability.
What made this experience significantly worse was how poorly management handled the situation. Several managers were visibly walking the floor, but when I approached one to express our frustration after waiting almost two hours, his response was shockingly dismissive: “Everyone else is waiting too.” No apology. No urgency. Just a shrug and then he walked away.
When our food finally arrived, it was unsurprisingly cold and unappetizing. There was no attempt to make it right—no manager came back to check in, no gesture of goodwill, not even basic hospitality.
This was supposed to be a memorable night for our daughter. Instead, it became a frustrating experience that showed how little this restaurant seems to care about its guests—even on special occasions. Based on how management handled this, we will not be returning, and we sincerely hope others reconsider before spending their time and money here.

Me and my husband came in tonight for the first time and it most definitely won’t be our last! First off, I like the atmosphere here. It’s sophisticated but still has a casual southern feel which I like. Especially since we came in in jeans and a t-shirt! Secondly, our server Hara was great. She practically waited on us hand and foot, which was much appreciated even though me and my husband are easy to please! Next, the food was amazing. My husband got the prime rib and it was absolutely delicious, as was everything else we got. Lastly, for the portion sizes you get I was pleasantly surprised with the price! I’m a frugal person but I was very pleased with our total. $100 for 2 drinks, a beer, a good sized appetizer (we couldn’t finish it), 2 meals (one was the most expensive steak), and a dessert! Look no further for a great steakhouse in all aspects, just come here!

Best restaurant in Valdosta GA. The only place I have been able to find any quail that taste wonderful. It comes as an entree and appetizer. My wife got the NY Strip with mashed potatoes and a side salad and it was mouth watering. And the cocktails never disappoint.
10/10 recommend!

Just off exit 22, this locally owned restaurant offers not only amazing steaks, but has a full lunch and dinner menu. Some friends and I recently visited for lunch. I’m a big fan of the tomato bisque! The owner started Jack’s Chophouse after many years of working with another well-established local restaurant. The atmosphere is quiet and comfortable, perfect for a small lunch gathering or a date night. The staff is well trained, professional and friendly. There’s a full service bar that is separate from the dining area and even a small area to sit outside and enjoy South Georgia evenings. Always a Five Star experience.

Wonderful experience from start to finish! Had myself the Filet and it was cooked PERFECT! The carrots were the perfect side and the champagne vinaigrette dressing is the best I have ever had.
Definitely worth the stop and 10/10 recommend!!
