This is probably our favorite bar. We just hate that the kitchen is right next to the stage. So if you are dancing there is always staff walking past you with trays of food. Poor design. I am told it’s the same owner as The Boathouse in Belmar. We always have fun because of the great bands they book to play music. The drinks are great. The food is just okay. Parking is on the street.

Food was good, pastrami on rye was very tasty. Fries were nice and crispy. They charge a 20% tip auto surcharge and we were a party of three people?? No mention of this on the menu that we saw and then was asked you want to add an extra tip, plus the credit card surcharge was listed under the sandwich not saying what it was. Be upfront as transparent.

We had a fantastic time watching the Euro cup quarterfinal and Brian was a wonderful bartender and fun to talk to you and entertaining and extremely professional all at the same time. The food servings were larger than they expected, which made the price point extremely fair and unfortunately, we left as the band was setting up so we did not get to see the band perform, but overall, the vibe the servers, and even the crowd which consisted of a lot of locals was extremely fun and very refreshing.

Last night, a few friends and I went to Jacks by the Tracks, an awesome bar and grill, to see Jessica Rose — a talented, up-and-coming country western star. Originally from Freehold, NJ, Jessica moved to Nashville, TN five years ago to pursue her career, and she wowed the packed house with four solid hours of incredible music.
The place was rocking all night, and the servers and bartenders did an outstanding job keeping up with the high-energy crowd – their effort was clear and impressive. Kudos to Jessica Rose and Jacks by the Tracks for an unforgettable night!

The food was extremely bland for the prices they charge. The service was slow and they did make a mistake with my order but the waitress did come over and let me know it was her fault and apologized. I appreciate that. As for the atmosphere there was live music playing and the patio seating is a nice addition. It’s definitely family friendly, the crowd was mixed.

Well cooked cuban. Chick cesar was also flavorful. Shrimp tasted like they were fresh off the dock. My 1st time there, but I will be back to try a few more things. Lots of variety for drinks on the shelf. I also like the look of everything. You can tell the decor was done professionally. A Black and gray modern rustic bar.

We were excited to try out the newly renovated Jack’s as our new local spot. Our server took a about 10 mins to greet us for our drink order. Our cocktails from the bar took another 10ish minutes and our server came back to take our order before they were even made. We ordered wings app, a burger and a wrap. The wings took about 25 minutes to come out and our sandwiches followed only 5 minutes behind. Terrible timing with food delivery. The burger was served on a terrible bun which was way too small and our other meal came out wrong twice. The server did apologize and took off the wrap but the manager gave no apology and seemed to not even care. We paid way too much for the terrible experience we received and will not try this place again.

Place looks great! Bathrooms were very clean (even with a packed bar). We enjoyed our beers and bartender. Our fries were cold but tasty (chalking this up to them newly being opened), the pretzel “sticks” were nuggets, but also good especially with the cheese. Think the portion could have been bigger but will definitely give them another try!
