I got the Quebecer, one of the best if not the best burgers I’ve had, along with the poutine, which was top 10. Really quick service too. If you want a burger, fries and shake, it can be a bit pricier.

This was my first time at JBS (Jasper Ave). The BBQ burger was excellent. Every part of the burger came through – no flavour was masked by other flavours. Well thought out composition. What struck me first was the flavour of the beef. Wonderful rich taste and texture (never had a smashed burger before).
Every other burger I have had in my life (other than home made) did not project a beef flavour, just a flavour of the sauce or cheese or whatever, but all mixed up. Not Jack’s burger. Even the flavour of the lettuce came through.

Why isnt this place packed?!! Felt like best burger Ive had in years! Ordered BBQ crunch extra patty and fries with malt aioli. Tornadoed through the juicy smashed burger, and even the fries and aioli were refreshingly tasty (ran out aioli super quick). The image honestly does not capture how good it actually is.

I am celiac. They took every precaution in ensuring my food was prepared away from other surfaces. The gluten free bun was soft and delicious. They had no issues toasting it like I asked. Taste and proportions match the price. I had the Shroo. Burger. Would eat here again. Come early the do get busy.
