The bar is set. I wanted to give the food 5 stars, but my eyes didn’t roll back when I ate the coleslaw. The ribs were very good, the brisket were near perfect and I say that because 1 piece was fatty and moist the other was a bit dry, the jalapeno cheese sausage – OMG, the spicy sausage was spicy and good, the corn bread was amazing, the corn bread pudding was delicious, and the pecan pie was a diabetics nightmare and I loved it! Loved the waitress

I ordered catering from this BBQ spot for my birthday celebration and overall had a great experience. Ordering online was super easy and straightforward, and pickup was smooth with no issues at all. Everything was ready and well-packaged when I arrived.

Food-wise, there were some real standouts. The brisket leaned a bit on the drier side for my taste, but the ribs more than made up for it. They were tender, flavorful, and clearly smoked with care. The chicken was another win. It was juicy, well-seasoned, and a crowd favorite.

The sides were fantastic, especially the Texas caviar, which was honestly to die for. It was fresh, bright, and addictive. Do not skip the spicy BBQ sauce! It is absolutely bomb and a must-have that tied everything together perfectly.

Overall, this was a solid choice for a celebration with great flavors, easy logistics, and several dishes that really stood out. I would definitely order again, especially for the ribs, chicken, and that spicy sauce.

My wife and I have been all over the country and along the way we’ve tried BBQ in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas City, Tennessee, and St Louis. But here at Jack’s BBQ, it sadly missed the mark when it comes down to overall appearance/ presentation, taste, and most of all, quality!. My wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich with ranch style beans and coleslaw. The beans were good but they were simply ‘ pinto beans with a pepper taste’. The pulled pork sandwich was actually very delicious, moist and perfectly smoked, but the coleslaw had so much apple cider vinegar, that you tasted nothing else!. I ordered “The Burger”, which was a brisket blend patty topped with cheese and the standard lettuce, tomato, and red onion. My side was an order of fries and I added ‘beef bacon ‘ to my burger as well. My burger was absolutely flavorless and the beef bacon itself was covered in too much (beef fat) Tallow and the bottom of the bun was literally stuck to the parchment paper and when I tried to pick it up, it turned to a mush! The fries were soggy and were seasoned with a blend of spices and it had too much of a sweet side to the seasoning (to me it tasted like apple pie spice and cinnamon), but it was still okay. Is it really Texas Style BBQ?, maybe Inspired by Texas Style BBQ. Overall, when you walk in you’ll get the feel of being in a BBQ restaurant, but not in the traditional sense of what you would call Texas Style. Side note: this is our individual experience and I’m not trying to make it look like a completely awful visit. We will go back and try other items on the menu, every restaurant has down days and maybe it was one of those days! The service is amazing though

I finally tried Jack’s BBQ and let me just say… the food is BOMB

I’ve been there once in person and also ordered through DoorDash, and both experiences were great. The atmosphere inside is super nice and very welcoming — you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. The food is flavorful, fresh, and definitely hits every time.

Today I ordered again and my food was done pretty quick and delivered fast, which I really appreciated. They even included a note letting customers know they deliver through their own app, which is so convenient because DoorDash definitely overprices items and still adds extra fees.

Overall, great food, great vibes, and great service. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Save your $ y’all this bbq was trash
Where do I start. The bbq sauce itself was watered down and lacked flavor the greens were undercooked and needed seasoning the Mac and cheese was thick and chunky not in a good way the coleslaw taste like it had horseradish in it. Service was bare minimum . If you want good bbq visit my four sons in midland or 7 sons pop up bbq.

I’ve been to Jack’s in Seattle many times and was happy to learn of their newer locations like this one in Lakewood. The brisket, pork ribs, and sausages, all of the sides: juicy and full of flavor. The brisket didn’t need anything added to it at all: Perfection. I had BBQ in Fort Worth TX 2 months ago – Jack’s holds up to that, easily!

Great customer service, walked in. You can sit anywhere. Fried pickles were very delicious. I got those as an appetizer. I got the Burger with pulled pork it was good. The pork was kind of dry but nothing some barbecue sauce couldn’t fix. My friend got the sandwich he loved it. He was visiting from Texas. He said it wasn’t as great as Texas barbecue, but it met his expectations. It was filling and tasted fresh I loved the Smokey bbq flavor

Great BBQ. Their food is excellent and ironically they also have great fried chicken as well! They have great BBQ plates and sandwiches as well. The parking lot is small but does the trick.

Special on Tuesday is amazing! Picture is below.

They have daily specials that are great.
