We are here visiting from out of state and we came here for breakfast. Oh, boy were we in for a delightful meal. The area is lovely and quaint. The owners are incredibly kind and had our food made in a timely manner. I try to take photos of the food before digging in, but when I saw the French toast and bacon…well, I dug in like a . I realized that I hadn’t taken a picture at the very end. Sorry for tempting you with an almost empty plate. I did include some photos of the restaurant. I will be there again before I leave.

What a fun find on our recent road trip. Just 3 minutes off the highway, and we’re at this authentically local restaurant on the shore of Lake Erie. Local dishes, locally sourced ingredients, fresh pies made right there in house. Perch was lightly breaded just right.n I’m a cole slaw fanboy, and Jack’s is excellent. Jack’s fries were meaty and delicious. After eating we strolled a block down to the beach and dipped our toes Lake Erie. What a fun little memory maker this turned out to be.

It is a very family friendly restaurant, our server is very helpful and informative. Although they are out of burgers and salad, but the vegetable soup, fish and tuna sandwich hit the spot! Fish fillet is crispy and juicy, and the chili is very meatly. Fresh is the key, keep it up!

Delicious! So close to the water and such friendly staff. Stopped here quick for dinner on our cross-country road trip and had the tomato stuffed with egg salad and garlic toast and it was to die for. If you’re in the area and looking for a charming place to eat with friendly people,you can’t beat Jack’s Barcelona drive in. Don’t forget to buy a shirt!

Outdoor seating only due to covid. Was a beautiful day and it is very close to the beach. Stopped for lunch then walked to the beach. Waitress was friendly. Food was good, classic dinner style with basic menu options. Decent selection even with a cut back on options due to covid.

This is a local favorite restaurant, serving comfort food with outstanding service, when you find yourself traveling through Ripley New York, stop by for a great experience. Good view of Lake Erie from the front restaurant door.
