Servers ignored me at the outside bar for ten minutes. I left without service. I am a normal guy, older 73 years old who snowboard rides. They unwittingly did me a favor. I avoided paying $13 for a pilsner craft beer. Instead I paid $4 at happy hour for a craft pilsner in Silverthorne near my lodging, Windy City Pizza.
The food and beverage situation at CM is very expensive and chaos, in addition to arrogant, rude servers.

Hey , Jack’s , if you don’t want people getting their own drinks at the bar can you let customers know so they don’t their heads snapped off when a waitperson approaches their table? Maybe a sign or 2, or the bartenders can politely tell people that it’s table service only?

The servers here are rude and unprofessional. The bar could be nice, but unfortunately rude servers really ruined the experience for our group. Given how many restaurants are in the area, I would recommend going anywhere else.

Bar is dece, standard slope-side bar but they serve quick.

The food court used to be the best food, but they did a great job turning that upside. Heard they failed inspection this year so they raised prices. That’d be fine with me but I found actual rocks in the potatoes with breakfast, see attached photos. I hope you enjoy a side of shale with your sandwich, its the best gravel on the mountain.

Employees are kind and helpful, which is always nice.

$20 is steep for chicken tenders and fries but I get it, we’re at a ski mountain. Could the portions have been larger, sure. Neither of those had an impact on the number of stars. But the fact that corporate greed has ROBBED US of honey mustard, truly the only condiment needed for chicken tendy’s is unacceptable. Surrounded by mountains, but this is the hill I will die on.

No nonsense kind of bar at the ski lodge.
Well stocked with all kinds of premium liquor and some draft beer. No Guinness or Blue Moon. But they make awesome hot spiked beverages. Great staff, nice seatting area but in open lodge space, and budget friendly.
And if you find a spot near windows at the bar, you will be entertained by the beauty of the nature as well as skiers/snowboarders at their best!

2026-Still just as great! Our server, Gabe, was awesome!

2025:Great place to sit and have lunch or just take in the scenery while having lunch or a drink. We had lunch here one day while skiing and had the loaded tots. Very delicious! Service was great even though they stay busy. I recommend the hot apple pie drink.

Bar gets 10 stars, great employees and drinks!
Restaurant gets 0 stars, their breakfast used to be good but now it’s always cold or room temperature, they seem very disorganized and need a heat lamp to keep food warm while waiting for other food to be ready. Needs to be much better, they could use a few more cooks to keep things flowing.

I typically enjoy dining at Jack’s Bar and Grill, but my recent experience was disappointing due to the behavior of a staff member named Reed. From the moment we interacted, Reed came across as dismissive and uninterested in providing even basic customer service. When we asked questions about current services on the mountain, his responses were curt and laced with arrogance, as if helping us was an inconvenience.

Rather than creating a welcoming atmosphere, Reed’s attitude made us feel like we were a burden. His tone was unnecessarily sharp, and he showed little regard for basic courtesy. Everyone can have an off day, but consistent rudeness and a dismissive demeanor are unacceptable in any hospitality setting.

I hope management takes note of this and addresses it. Jack’s has always had potential for great service, but experiences like this detract significantly from the overall visit.
