I can’t believe this restaurant has been around for 2 years and I haven’t heard about it. Everything I ordered was delicious. The shrimp mofongo had at least 8 large shrimp and the sauce was phenomenal. A little different than what I am used to eating shrimp mofongo but wow was it good. The sauce was a little creamy which really added to the flavor of the dish. It came with a small side salad which had real greens (not iceberg) and the dressing was excellent. Finally, I got a side order of chicharron (pork) which is sold by weight, and it was also delicious and it had a very slight seasoning which slightly but noticeably added to the flavor. And it was cooked perfectly. The skin was crispy without it being overlooked.
I have found my new “go-to” place here in Middletown for Latin cuisine!

First things first, the place is inside a gas station. So yes you have arrived at the right spot. I’ve only tried the empanadas but (most of the time when they are not soggy) they are delicious and reasonably priced. Service is nice and quick.

Jackie is the epitome of a hostess/chef. Every time my family and I eat here, we feel at home. Not only is the food reasonably priced & delicious but the service is awesome. I don’t think there is a better place in Orange County to get Latin food. You’re definitely missing out if you haven’t tried this spot. Nice, quiet and low key spot with a nice atmosphere.

We were excited to try Jackie’s Latin kitchen as it came highly recommended. However, upon arriving, the selection is extremely limited so don’t bother looking at the menu provided online.
I will specifically not be returning because of the $40 I was charged for 2 SMALL meals full of mostly plantains and beans. We questioned the price and was shown a break down of our 4 items being charged seperately. Not as meals, as she charged everyone else. This was an absolute disappointment from the atmosphere, subpar food and justifying charging a new customer $40 for 2 small plates. And $5 for a bunch of plantains she charged seperate, not as apart of the meal. Seriously? We called back and she continued to justify the charges. So, 25 minutes for expensive, below average food, trust me, don’t waste your time or money. You should appreciate your customers more and actually honor the menu you have online.

This is a perfect spot for dining in. It has an industrial modern look with spacious clean lines. The artwork gives it a vibrant, Latin aurhentic feel and the owner tops it off with her warm and welcoming personality. The food is very reasonably priced and has plenty of parking outside. The food is fresh, flavorful and always a beautiful presentation. They do not have alcohol. I give it 5 stars!

I have been getting food from Jackie and her husband for almost a year now !!!!!! The 1st time my fiancé and I walk in there we fell in love with food. Still til this day the food is AMAZING!!!!!!!! Jackie Latin Kitchen even relocated and the food still is Amazing and taste the same!!!!! The moment you get your food and speak to them you feel like family…. She even has meals that fits your budget!!!!!! This place is the BEST SPANISH FOOD IN MIDDLETOWN!!! Just try it… anything trust me… worth the time and worth the money!!!
