5 stars, why? you may be asking… well to begin the minute you walk in, the staff are amazing and welcoming, then the food. Everything on the menu is on point, I come once every couple of weeks and I’d say that it is always, always, consistent. The burst of flavors are one I recommend everyone should try.

Everything about Jackie Smalls is spot on! From the food to the service to the atmosphere to the menu options. Jackie sure hit a home run with this establishment! I have been there several times and everything is always delicious. I mean come on look at that avocado toast and those scones! It is great for breakfast, brunch or lunch. The menu is vast, so you know it has something for everyone. The prices are on point with what you get. I am not sure if they take reservations, but I would make one as it does get pretty busy in there and there isn’t too much seating. That would be the only downside, is the place is so good so it is always packed. Regardless, it is worth the wait and the wait is never more than 30 minutes. They do have a counter so you can order and get your food to go or just stop in for a coffee! 12/10!

Blueberry pancakes and raspberry scones were phenomenal. I enjoyed the Avocado Cool smoothie and their coffee as well. The BLTA had a hearty heap of bacon but too much mayo for me, I would ask for no mayo next time. They had space on a Saturday morning around 9am but got crowded by 10. You wait for seating, order at the counter, and they bring food over to you. They have kid-sized pancakes (which was still a lot!) and 2 high chairs on premise. I want to go back and try the french toast and chai latte!

Always a consistently great food experience. You feel like you just belong in this small restaurant, with staff just so ready to serve. A very unique fusion of Mediterranean and American dishss. I love the sababbah boel eith hummus instead of lebneh or yogurt. They’re always willing to customize and make it an awesome experience you keep coming back for. Highly recommend!

For working in the best middle eastern restaurant in New York City. I was pleasantly surprised by the falafels. they were really good. My colleague ordered lamb kofta and the portions are extremely generous for the price. The only downside is that you can hear your table neighbors too much.

I haven’t had a really good cup of coffee outside my house in years! The cappuccino was really good! I also tried the latte, which was also very good.. I just prefer the cappuccino. Avocado toast with an egg was perfectly flavored without being sour. We also ordered plain pancakes and they were nice and fluffy. I appreciated the little touches they add to the experience. Personally, I love mint, so having it in the water was a plus. The staff was friendly and the restaurant looks and feels clean. You order and pay at the register..when your order is ready it is brought to your table. Enjoy!

Service was amazing ! Even though you order and pay at the counter the staff kept circling around to check on everyone, taking away plates, etc. So clean. Food was amazing. We tried the avocado toast, little Italy and the French toast (best I’ve ever had!) Cute little place to grab a quick bite. And maybe my new favorite remote office!
