I’ve passed by this place many times, but I’ve never given it a try. Happy that I made the order via DoorDash. The burrito I ordered was the Mission Style one. The packaging was something I loved. The flavors are there, and using the included hot sauce enhances the experience. My burrito, though, was a bit cold. I wish the temperature were higher. I’m certain that would have made a five-star difference.

After reading the name I just had to try. I cant say that it lived up to its name but it was pretty good. I ordered the mission style burrito and the asada tasted great. The tortilla tasted good and was solid. It didn’t fall apart but wasnt anything special. My coworker got the all day breakfast burrito and apparently that hit the spot. Overall for the price we paid i’d recommended.

Tried because they have interesting burritos: Fried shrimp burrito (“Baja Shrimp”) and Korean steak burrito (“K-town”). They tasted decent–although with a lot of rice in them–and it was certainly an interesting detour from Chipotle-like chains. A bit pricy but the takeout packaging was the best. I would say it wouldn’t be your go-to burrito place, but once-in-a-while place when you want something different.

I ordered for the first time and got the Baja Shrimp Burrito. Man was I impressed. It had fresh avocado, lots of shrimp on a bed of cilantro lime rice. The fresh peco de gallo really set it off.

Good burritos, horribly overpriced. Jackass burrito is just an online storefront for burritos made in El Rey.
Once overheard the cashier tell someone that it’s cheaper to place an order over the phone — when I called they told me they only take online orders. Maybe you should order off the El-Rey menu specifically.

I got a shrimp burrito. The taste was alright. The size was pretty good. However, I felt like the inside of the wrap was mostly just white rice.
The designs of packaging were really pretty. Considering the price, I might just go to Chipotle or Baja Fresh.

I ordered the steak burrito and got three tiny pieces of meat- 5% meat, 95% rice. I had the same issue months ago with the shrimp burrito, but this time it was worse: the food was cold. A few bites in, I felt sick and had to throw up. I honestly don’t know if it’s poor food quality or something to do with staff hygiene, but either way, it’s unacceptable and I won’t be ordering from this place again. Very disappointing!

Pretty good. Reminds me a bit of something like Moe’s, but with more unique options. I got the Kimchi Burrito, which was good — fresh and flavorful, but I felt it could’ve had more meat. Overall, decent experience though.

To say this place skimps out on proteins is an understatement. Understand that they will charge you for protein then provide you next to nothing (or skip out on the protein altogether) as a practice. I have brought it to their attention many times thinking it was done in error – it is very intentional, it is underhanded and it is knowingly done at the customer’s expense.
The option to add a protein is a farce. They will be serving you a vegetarian burrito more often than not.
