My first experience with Jack Stack and I’ll tell you I’ll be back. Walked in was seated immediately at 4pm on a thurs. My server Jason was fantastic and super helpful with suggestions for my dinner. I ended up getting a 3 meat (pork spare ribs,pulled pork,pork burnt ends) 2 sides (corn bake, smoked beans) all of it was amazing. I was brought several BBQ sauces not that I needed them but the honey and original sauces were amazing.I can’t say anything bad about my experience other then I couldn’t eat everything. I saved some ribs for later so I could try the Carrot cake which was fanominal (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND). I will recommend eating here to anyone my time at the Lee Summit location was a treat.

Stopped by for lunch today. It’s been a couple years since we’ve had Jackstack and BBQ sound great. We were able to get a table walking in at 12:30 on a Sunday so that was nice. We had the fried mushrooms, a must every time we go here. They were perfect, as expected. Husband had a sandwich, but we have always been sad that they got rid of the smoked ham. We loved the smoked ham on a sandwich. His was brisket and pulled pork and was very good. It was close to $20, but was so big that it will give him a second meal. My daughter and I got the convo platter with ribs, brisket and burnt ends. Everything was solid.

My only complaint was how the a/c system was blowing air so strongly at every table along the windows. Our napkins were literally blowing in the wind if not held down. The server asked the manager to turn it down and it shut of for a little bit but not long. I understand that the system is needed to keep the overall restaurant temp comfortable, but for all of us next to the windows, it was very chilly and uncomfortable. Definitely made us eat quickly and scoot on our way.

all of our first time at jack stack and it was amazing! our server Suzette was so nice and friendly and did a great job! she filled up all our drinks regularly and helped us with what to order and recommended dessert. she even took the group picture of us! our food was super good too especially the carrot cake. 10/10 experience thanks to Suzette!

Most delicious Kansas City BBQ we had on our trip! Everything we had was so amazing!!! The wings literally fell off the bone. Was the perfect amount of heat without being too spicy. All the meats for the combo plates were well seasoned. Brisket was thinning sliced. We substituted fries for baked potatoes instead. My husband has celiac disease and was able to eat here with no issues. Would highly recommend to eat here if visiting KC!

My wife and I received a gift card from the friend and so we went here for lunch on 7 September. Been a while since I have eaten Jack stack, but I didn’t remember liking it as much as I did this time.
I ordered the 2 item meal and got the ribs and burnt ends and Parmesan broccoli(fantastic) The ribs were flavorful and tender. The burnt ends were delicious just the right amount of fatty and gelatinous, as well. I asked her for a sweet chipotle sauce, which I really enjoyed.
My wife had the potato with pulled pork in it, which was really good as well. Which thinking about it now she oddly enough had the side of fries. We always get the baked beans from Costco so I thought she might try something different this time.

I came here with my mom tonight. She got her favorite, the Poor Russ Sandwich, and I got mine, which are the honey glazed baby back ribs. We both substituted the fries for the Hickory Pit Beans because they are the simply the best. The food didn’t disappoint! We also ordered 2 of the Tropical Paradise cocktails, which were perfectly made & balanced. We loved everything.
Also, our server Hannah R. was great. I definitely have to shout her out. She was outgoing, always made sure we had what we needed, kind, and funny. I really enjoyed getting to talk with her.

This place is amazing! Kaylee was our waitress and did an awesome job taking care of our party of 8 people. Very attentive and helpful. Food was delicious, ribs were a little dry but that was probably the only complaint we had. Burnt ends (beef) Steak, Mac & Cheese, BBQ Beans, Salmon and Trout – all delicious and cooked to perfection. Even the broccoli tasted good and we also didn’t leave without ordering their yummy carrot cake:) Order came out quickly and a lot of hands on deck with how many people there were coming out to bring the food. Great atmosphere, clean restaurant, good company and delicious food. Will definitely return.

Always enjoy our time together here! Laid back atmosphere, dress up or come as you are and I feel as though you’ll be treated like a friend. Along with all the meat you can imagine, they have a few plant based and vegetarian options. I heard they used to have veggie kabobs, but they weren’t on the menu. Might want to eat your dessert first, because you’ll be too full after your meal. We keep coming back, that’s all you really needed to know.

They really should consider not using a deli slicer to cut their brisket, turkey and sausage. Meat sliced so thin takes away from the BBQ experience and flavor profiles.
