I really want to like this Jack in the Box because it’s one of the only fast food spots in the Burien area, especially late at night when options are slim. Unfortunately, nearly every visit leaves me feeling more frustrated than satisfied.The staff clearly seem overworked and under-resourced (you can tell they’re doing the best they can with short staffing and a constant rush), but that doesn’t excuse the consistent vibe that customers are an inconvenience. From the moment you walk in or pull up to the drive-thru, the energy feels cold. Eye contact is rare, greetings are mumbled (if they happen at all), and more than once I’ve been snapped at for asking simple questions like “Can you make sure there’s no cheese?” or “Is the grilled chicken sandwich ready yet?” It’s not outright hostility, but it’s enough to make you feel like you’re burdening them just by existing and placing an order.Food wait times are painfully slow, even when the lobby or drive-thru isn’t particularly busy. Ten to fifteen minutes for a couple of tacos and curly fries isn’t uncommon, and drive-thru orders frequently get backed up because it feels like only one or two people are juggling everything (cooking, bagging, cashier, etc.). Accuracy is hit-or-miss too: missing items, wrong customizations, cold fries, or soggy tacos happen more often than they should.The restaurant itself is usually clean enough, and the food, when it finally arrives and is correct, tastes like standard Jack in the Box fare (which is honestly why I keep coming back despite everything else). But the overall experience just wears you down. If there were another decent late-night option within a reasonable drive, I’d go there instead without hesitation. Bottom line: Convenient location, but come prepared for a long wait and service that ranges from indifferent to borderline rude. 3 stars because the food is edible and it’s open late; otherwise it’d be a 2-star review. Management really needs to address staffing and customer service training here.

I had a great experience at Jack in the Box. The food was fresh and tasted great, but what really stood out was the customer service. I went through the drive-through on Thursday night around 11:00pm, and the employee working was excellent—very attentive, repeated my order back clearly, and made sure everything was perfect before I left. That kind of service late at night is rare, and I really appreciated it!

We all got sick on the food. It cost $47. It was not worth it at all. I highly do not recommend this place to eat. We had one meal and two hamburgers and that was it not worth it.

I just picked up my buttery smash jack burger… one of their $10.99 burgers. I just asked for no cheese. What I got was a totally dry plain burger that was not what I ordered! Then, now that I am home and my husband is done eating his burger. I have to get back in the car and go get this fixed! This sucks!!!

Everytime I go to this Jack in the Box location, its hit or miss on the military discount. Some have no problem applying the discount, others have to ask, some have no idea it exists, but most recently I got the blank stare cause apparently we don’t understand what “military discount” is? The wait was too long for the person before me who left before even placing their order. My order wasn’t too bad a wait, but definitely wasn’t speedy. It was odd that they didn’t have any diet drinks. Tried the new smash burger which was ok, but fries were soggy. Haven’t had the best experience in the past and like others, kept hoping things would improve. Probably won’t go back, especially since Wendy’s has just opened up down the street.

I’m giving 1 star but it should be minus 100. There should be another emoji because there were no stars here. Soda I got was warm and flat. The French fries tasted like they were made in month old grease and the double burger was disgusting and cold I couldn’t even eat one bite what is a waste of money I’ll never come here again. Worst Jack in the box on the planet.

This is not the first time this jack in the box has messed up my order, the mistake is that I keep choosing to give it another chance just to disappoint me again. I took the bus to pick up my online order, I got home and my two tacos are missing and my LARGE FRY with my LARGE meal obviously is a medium fry in a large container. Make it make sense please.

Charges for online orders, doesn’t make them, and then claims they were taken. Manager and owner (if they even respond) will refuse to honor purchase and won’t actually make the food.
