Every time I order they park us to serve others over drive thru priority (I worked at Jack’s I know how this works) and they take always atleast 15 minutes for a burger and fries, any other location can do better.

It’s Monday 3:50 pm. I was waiting at the lobby for 10 minutes for someone to take my order. I was asking screaming no one came to take my order, so after a while I called the restaurant so someone can help me. Very bad service. ZERO STARS

I used to go to this location in the 80s and remember it as a much brighter cleaner happier place. Recently was in town and for the Thursday night market and decided to eat at Jack-in-the-Box and cool down. I was shocked to see a filthy place with homeless loitering and just a downer of a scene to eat a meal. I will never return to this place.

Currently been pulled and sitting in the parking lot waiting a a tiny order! The last time we came here we waited for 20 mins at the window and still didn’t even get paid out and we were the only ones in line and the lobby was empty. I stopped in at the downtown Chico CA location around 12:20 p.m. This was the filthy restaurant I have ever been in.
People were waiting for at least 20 minutes to order. Some were there to pick up orders they had placed on the app, some like myself had stopped in to there to order.
The one single front employee was focused on drive thru, while another one single employee was cooking.
They were out of small burgers, so I couldn’t order that, so I ordered two tacos and a soda, then waited for another 20 minutes while sipping most of the soda. Never received a receipt.
There was a long line of people. While I sat and waited I took a real good look around me. I thought at one time this was a nice little place, but now it has went down hill looks like a dump.
Peeling paint, and a piece was broken off from the base of the coloum in the center of the restaurant.
I sit and stared at a cob web with a dead fly in the window seal. Thats when I noticed a man at another table washing his hands with the ice cubes left in his cup, probably because the one worker during lunch time didn’t have a moment to spar to buzz the bathroom door open, and he wanted to wash his hands after his meal.
Meanwhile, Orkin was parked out front. I finally was able to get the worker to buzz the bathroom door open. when I entered the bathroom i was shocked!
It smelled so bad, it was filthy! There was trash on the sink, the floor was nasty, the walls needed paint, and looked nasty filthy. It looked like it had been a very long time since the toilet was cleaned, including the sink.
The worst was a large glob of old dried human feces on the handicap hand bar behind the toilet.
Honestly I lost my appetite at this point. I have been inside Out Houses cleaner than this place. It was just gross.
How safe is the food they serve? What does the refrigerator, soda, shake machines look like?
I don’t blame the employees, I’ve worked fast food and managers always made sure there were enough employees to handle the lunch rush.
However the manger probably doesn’t have much wiggle room based on what the rules corporate has handed down.
The corporation is at fault in this situation, but only partly because of the laws the the state of California has handed down to them.
This is just sad. Its only a matter of time before a patron become violently ill, or a state health inspector makes a visit.
I came home, and never have eaten those tacos.They scare me, and I don’t want to get sick. I’ll probably end up throwing them away.
A total of 35 minutes to order, and get the food that I don’t even want now.
