My fiancé and I rolled through Jack in the Box late one night because we were out very late, flat-out hungry, and didn’t feel like getting home & cook. When it’s late and you just want something hot and quick, this place usually gets the job done. Look, the food is what it is — it’s Jack in the Box. You’re not walking in (or the drive thru) expecting a steakhouse or a fancy burger joint. But it’s affordable, it’s filling, and it tastes good when you’ve got a late-night craving. Everything was hot, curly fries were fresh, and it hits the spot. We fumbled around at the drive-thru speaker trying to decide what we wanted, hey it happens when you’re out late on the town, tired, and hungry. The crew didn’t give us attitude, didn’t rush us, just let us figure it out. I respect that. Order came out right, nothing missing, packed up neat. At the end of the day, that’s all you want. Fair price, hot food, no drama. This location in Murrieta always seems to come through when we need it. We’ll be back Jack!

Whoever does inventory at this location isn’t good at the job. Every single time they are out of something. How can you go somewhere and order 4 different things on the menu and be told they are out of it. No Chicken stripes, no onion ring, no French toast sticks, and no diet soda. Like none. That was last week. And tonight it happens again. Drive to the one off Newport. Cheaper prices and way better service.

I don’t know what’s up with the staff lately … I just went through the drive-thru and asked them to give me ranch dressing instead of the avocado lime sauce that comes with the tiny tacos … When I got home and opened my bag there was no ranch dressing but there was an extra avocado lime sauce. Normally, this wouldn’t be a big deal but this was not a one-off event. Everything from straws to sauces are mixed up or entirely left out even when making sure to specifically request what I want. I am usually very forgiving about this kind of thing and don’t like to give bad ratings, but when my son won’t eat his tiny tacos for the fifth time because they can’t seem to give me a ranch it starts to get problematic. It really seems like the staff just doesn’t care.

Only go here if you want the employees to give your food to someone else and say it is your fault that THEY gave YOUR food to someone else and they tell you that you need to take time out your day to get a refund through their website and give you attitude for it and not be courteous or apologetic for their mistake. Like who does that for one. Secondly, why do I have to be responsible for YALL giving away my order to a random person who didn’t pay for the food they got. Thirdly, why can’t yall make the food that I ordered again so I don’t have to go through this hassle. I was hungry:/ Never going to this location again.

I asked that instead of sausage if I could have ham. The loaded breakfast sandwich comes with sausage. She said yes. I was charged for the ham, & was not told that it would be extra. I see it as a training issue/customer service.

I’ve been to two different Jack in the box and ordered the same food, because I wanted to compare. I was shorted at both, I tried calling their 1-800 number, busy, busy, busy.

Drive thru service was fast and efficient. What I’ve enjoyed from this location is the friendliness of the employees especially the young gentleman “Jose”. I was literally having the worst day because I had been sick for about a week and wasn’t feeling better and my two young picky children were hungry and I didn’t feel like cooking so I stopped at Jack and JOSE was soooo patient, kind, attentive, and had excellent customer service. He also made my meal a little cheaper since everything was taken off of it from the kids not wanting this and that like Mayo,ketchup, onions, pickles etc….Jose was absolutely amazing and attentive and really helped turned my day around from his kindness. Maybe I just get lucky with the good, happy and best employees 🙂 my food is always fresh and tastes great. Overall it was such a positive experience at this location and I hope the managers here recognize Jose for his customer service and patience. Such a positive experience.
