I do not understand how this place has not closed down. I have had so many issues over the past 6-7 years at this location. I end up giving them another try because I grew up loving Jack in the Box. I am from San Diego, the home of Jack. However, my recent visit was the absolute last straw and the other reviews share in my opinion.
FOOD:
I have had issues with them giving me tacos that were fried in oil that was so dirty that the paper wrap for the tacos was brown. I ate one before noticing and had terrible stomach cramps. I have had eggrolls be almost completely burned. Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburgers that were so dry, it tasted like the meat was cooked yesterday. The chicken patty on the value chicken sandwich is as a joke how thin it is now. They have forgotten the ham slice on my Breakfast Jack. Undercooked hashbrowns that were soaked in dirty oil. My recent visit, I ordered chicken nuggets for my kids, which were normally good. However, they gave me the most pathetic nuggets I have ever seen in my life. They looked like they were cooked 3-days ago. See the photo.
SERVICE:
The service is not up to par. The employees are unengaged and seem like they really do not care about anything. They definitely do not care about the quality of the food they are putting out.
ATMOSPHERE:
I swear they kept the lobby closed two extra years after the pandemic restrictions. One time, I tried to get breakfast on my way to work and went there right at the posted open time. They did not open the drive-thru until 25 minutes after the open time. This was during the time when they had the lobby closed. The last time I ate inside, there were dirty tables, overflowing trash, it was a mess.
I absolutely CANNOT recommend this location and it seems the north one is also suffering from similar issues. I grew up eating “Jack in the Crack”, as my father called it, and it is disheartening that I can never enjoy it again.

Got a southwest salad it came with entire lettuce leaf’s the are hot . Like part of a chicken tender and very dry corn and beans . Missing stuff and just not good at all . Not for $9.29

THE WORST JACK IN THE BOX EVER! The night shift who works there are so incompetent. ALWAYS AND EVERY TIME. This is like the 5th time they cant get an order right. Not to mention it took 30 minutes just to get our order. We ordered the munchie box and it came with no curly fries and no toy. We ordered another side of curly fries and it still did not have curly fries. We ordered churros just to have fries mixed in there. Like seriously, who runs this establishment and how is it still open.

This location is always so slow and they almost always forget something in my order. I honestly don’t know why I keep going back. Today though, was by far the worst service I’ve had there. We waited in line for over 30 min and they had 6 cars in the line. When I finally got up to the window the employee never said anything about the wait, not a sorry or explanation about why it was taking so long. I would have been a little more understanding if I had gotten an apology. So on top of that already horrible experience we get home and they didn’t give us one of the kids meals we had ordered. They gave us the drink for it but no meal, so one of my kids didn’t get any food. Overall just a bad experience, will likely never come back to this location.

The food was horrible, flat nothing like absolutely nothing but a pickle and ketchup on it. Nothing like the picture. I know it’s a jr. but you can still care about quality. Kids matter! The cashier didn’t even address us just took our money and sent us on our way.

Ordered 6 tacos and two chicken sandwiches. They gave us 5 tacos and the chicken sandwiches they gave us was only the patty and meat. None of the sauce, or veggies in the sandwich. Just poor experience all around.

On 2/13 I waited in the drivethru for 29 mins. 3 workers visable, 1 working hard. The girl with the red hair on the mic seemed more concerned with her nails than helping out, and it seemed her super long nails made it difficult for her to do simple tasks like pulling a sticker off a monitor. Won’t try here for a late Friday snack again for a while.

Just went through the drive thru @8:30 on 10/11/24. I was the only car there and it took them 8 minutes to even take my card for me to pay. Then, as you can see the sandwich (supreme croissant) is so cold the cheese isn’t even attempted to be melted. I also ordered an iced coffee boba and the boba is so chewy and slimy it’s actually gross. I can see why there’s so many bad reviews of this place it’s gross. The lady made my coffee in the blender and then put the blender back in the fridge so no telling how long my coffee was in the fridge before I got there.

I don’t know how I sit in the Drive-Thru for 10 minutes or so with no customers before or after me assuming that my order is fresh but when I look at my order of curly fries they were an order of regular fries with a little bit of curly fries on top to make it look like it was a real order I’m nervous to even look at my burger because if you can’t even get an order of fries right how can you have any rest of the meal right I should have just spent less money and went to McDonald’s to get a better meal
