The drive thru is usually slow and packed. The staff at the window are usually rude and incoherent. The wait times are so long that car got overheated (I was in line for 90 minutes before and 20 minutes is common). They ask you to pull up, just to bring the food out immediately. They’ll ask you to back up behind the cone so their clocks have better scores (that’s fraud by the way, because it makes it seem like they’re moving us along and Jack’s has no idea about the cars that are waiting). It was embarrassing having to ask a worker to put the code in for the bathroom, who didn’t wash their hands after touching the door before going back to the kitchen to cook again. No one sits in their uninviting dining room and the Large Dr Pepper was so sweet that it made me feel sick. My teeth physically hurt after drinking it and my stomach feels really bloated) the Dr pepper is so strong and sugary it is not good tasting anymore. And your food is easy overpriced to be in the Woodhaven neighborhood. They even have a walk-up window that they could use at night, but don’t so you can not eat here if you not have a car after dark. And getting out of here is a nightmare as it is on a corner that is also a slope and so you you’re going to John t white or towards 820 north towards randol mill then it is a nightmare to get out of here. It is also a pain to access from bridge st east bound unless you travel through Albertsons and then make a right on the 820 south bound towards bridge st. Why would you put a fast food place on this corner, it makes no sense whatsoever, so the spot is cursed, the food is meh, and I have no idea why my wife is addicted to your egg rolls, but I rarely eat here and I try to steer her to Los Aibertos (also opened 24 hours) and to other places besides this place as I can’t stand this store or its brand.
I do think it’s logo and marketing is cool, bring the prices down, use your walk up window, move people to parking at night instead of parking in the drive thru, prioritize your app with discounts so you can anticipate us, take the locks off of the bathrooms. Take the gender off of the bathrooms so it is first come, first serve for anyone. Everyone is scared of this safe neighborhood. They have clean it up and everyone is so anti homeless around here. Whataburger can be 24 hours on east chase but Jack in the box on bridge st can’t be with its dining room. I have a suggestion for how to make it safer, do not accept cash after 8pm, go card and mobile only. And tell your staff to smile more. Nothing about this place makes me want to shop here. I wish there was a mcdonald’s or a whataburger on this strip or something that could really give you competition, this will either make you better as you’ll have to compete for our money or your brand will go away. Heck, I’ll settle for a burger King or a taco bell at this point, maybe where the cleaners is or the car wash that does nearly no business. This store is a joke and I wish it was not. I wish I could enjoy myself here, I’ve came here at least 50 times and this is my first time inside of your store today and, because usually I go through the drive thru, and when i saw your empty lobby and the locks on the bathroom it pissed me off that I had to look someone in their eyes to ask them permission to use the bathroom and I’m a grown man and I had to ask a woman, in my culture that is taboo. I felt so uncomfortable using your bathroom and that makes me not want to come back here.
I wish that I found have had a great experience today but I couldn’t and I will only eat here when nothing else is open.
The only downside of the experience in ordering and getting my meal here was that it seemed like there were very few workers in the back considering the long line at the drive thru, that I had to go inside to order on the kiosk since there was no one at the register. Then the lady just left my food on the counter and walked away without giving me the cup for my drink, and it took awhile for me to get someone’s attention for it.
I ordered my food online both times. My 1st time, no silverware, because I ordered a breakfast platter. 2nd time, the lady was rude when I asked her for sugar and creamer for my coffee. Both times my food was cold. I work on a sight where I have no access to a microwave, either wise I’d warm my food. Why go to Jack in the Box, you ask? Because the Jack in the Box by my full time job, food and service is always great at 6am. So didn’t think any other one would have people that work in an industry where customer service is priority aside from good warm food. Did I eat it? Hell yeah! I paid for it and what else could I do to warm it up.
