We stopped here for lunch while we were passing through Greenville, and I am sure glad we did! The service was so wonderful,- we had a phenomenal primary waitress, and then another great waitress was occasionally checking on us as well. The atmosphere was so fun and quirky, but don’t let the bar atmosphere fool you- the food is not your average “bar food”. The burgers and fries are AMAZING. I got the Cobra Kai Burger and the sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly! Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. My husband got the Elvis Burger and he got his fries “All Jacked Up” and they looked delicious. The waitress also brought a bottle of a condiment to our table (I can’t remember what she called it but maybe it was the JB sauce that’s on the menu..? I could be wrong.) to me, it was like a sweet-ish French onion dip, and it was AWESOME! I dipped everything into that stuff lol. Oh, and our meals each came with a pickle spear, which I love, it’s a nice little touch.

Walked in was greeted right away! Brought drinks immediately. Ordered within 5 minutes only took about 15 minutes to get our food. It was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time! Not huge just the right size. I had the Dr. Gonzo burger essentially a mushroom Swiss and crinkle cut sweet potato fries. Absolutely delicious. I would most definitely go again if I lived in Greenville!!

Great atmosphere, nice bar, great staff. If you want a nice & messy burger – this is the place! No ranch needed with their Jack brown sauce! Pictured is the JB classic. Hannah & the bearded fella won’t let your glass get empty! Will definitely visit again!

looking for someplace new and local business, not a chain, and ran across this little gem. Located in uptown Greenville, almost across the street from the former Stumpy hatchet throwing. But for was great! This a a quaint little dive joint! Great to hang out, have some drinks, grab a bite to eat. Food was great! Service was great! Prices were not so great, I think $12 for burger $4 for fries a little high, although it is 100% America waygu beef, burgers are a tad small. Would definitely go again

Lots to look at! Burger was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The server convinced me to try the fried Oreo and it was the most addictive thing I’ve ever pit in my mouth! Good place to hang with friends with a great craft beer selection. Nice staff. I’ll be back for sure

Waited an hour for 3 burgers that never came. Parties that came in well after us were served, dined, and left. Server took our order, and we never saw her again until I inquired why everything was taking so long. No refills offered. She checked with the kitchen, and explained they were very busy and we’d absolutely be up next. Twenty minutes later, we tracked her down to tell her we were leaving. A complete failure on the part of the kitchen and the server. Will not be back.

Went for a ride on the bike today and ended up in Greenville and heard that this place had a pretty damn good burger. The walls are filled with dollar bills and things written all over them. The ceiling has an upside down Xmas tree and women’s lingerie hanging all over This is definitely a college bar. We went in the middle of the day, so it was SUPER slow. I think it was us and one other table. Service was lacking, but the food was indeed awesome. I got the Elvis burger and fries. The burger was cooked super well and tasted awesome. That particular burger had peanut butter on it, which is something I’d never had before on a burger. Definitely added something to it and was super good. The fries were alright, and their house sauce is heavy mayo based and not a lot of other flavor added to it.
As a warning, this place serves burgers and fries (and fried Oreos). That is their whole menu though. Nothing wrong with that, just providing information. So if you’re not looking for a burger and/or fries, look elsewhere
Elvis burger – 8.6/10
Fries – 6/10

Don’t miss this super fun restaurant with THE BEST burgers and crinkle cut fries! My cheeseburger arrived piping hot (with sautéed onions) and the fries were perfectly prepared and seasoned. The service was friendly and thorough, and the decor is super fun. Go! Now!!

We discovered Jack Brown’s when we first brought our son to ECU, back in 2020 and immediately LOVED THIS JOINT! We visited every time we were in town over the following 4 years. The cobra Kai is my favorite, my husband liked the cowboy. The fries are fantastic! We miss visiting Greenville regularly for many reasons and this place is certainly one of them!
